Xian Downtown and Muslim Quarter Food Tour

Our Xian tour guide and driver will pick you up from your downtown hotel at 18:00 in the summertime and 17:00 in the other three seasons. The night scenery of Bell & Drum Tower Square is well worth seeing. Ancient Chinese mainly used the Bell Tower and Drum Tower for timekeeping. The Bell Tower is a strategically important building that marks the geographical center of the ancient capital. From this important landmark extends East Street, South Street, West Street, and North Street, forming a square city wall with East Gate, South Gate, West Gate, and North Gate. It has a history of over 700 years. The Bell Tower has several large bronze-cast bells from the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The tower base is square and it covers an area of 1,377 square meters. It’s the emblem of Xian city. Every night many people stroll on the square. You can see old people amuse themselves with all kinds of activities. It’s also convenient for shopping.

From the Bell Tower Square, we move on to the Muslim Quarter. It is located in the center of Xi’an City. It is a place combining shopping malls, typical local food restaurants, and entertainment places and a must-see spot for tourists with a unique historical atmosphere and diverse culture. You can optionally try some snacks here (at your own cost), such as Biang Biang Noodles, Ice Peak (orange-flavored soda), Soup Dumplings, Mirror Cake, and Lamb Skewers. At the end of the tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel at about 20:00.
