Highlights of this tour:
1. Embark on an exciting adventure to the world’s most precipitous mountain – Mount Hua to visit Taoist temples, sculptures, carvings, and other attractions.2. Immerse in the supernatural atmosphere, seeing the sea of clouds roaring just in front of your eyes.
3. Take a cable car to overlook the rolling hills dotted with lush vegetation in the summer and snow in the winter.
After breakfast in your hotel, your English-speaking tour guide and skilled driver will pick you up from your downtown hotel around 8 am.
After about 2 hours of driving, we will arrive at Mount Huashan. First, we will take a cable car up the North Peak where you will start your hiking. The guide will leave you to freely explore the mountain. On the top of the mountain, there are several spots such as Taoist temples, sculptures, and engravings. You will enjoy yourself so much on the 4 peaks. After you reach the Golden Lock Pass, you can buy a golden lock and lock it on the iron chains. Visitors usually do this to pray for safety and health. It must be marvelous scenery with thousands of golden locks on the iron chains.
On the Middle Peak (Jade Maiden Peak), you can immerse in its supernatural atmosphere, seeing the sea of clouds roaring before your eyes and imagining if immortals are living there. Continue your adventure towards the East Peak, discovering hidden trails and captivating landscapes along the way. Each step is a testament to the rich history and cultural significance of Mount Huashan. Then, navigate your way to the highest peak of Mt. Huashan – South Peak, a place of great significance and stunning vistas. Capture memorable moments as you traverse the diverse terrain and absorb the unique charm of each peak. After that, hike down to the West Peak, the most beautiful and precipitous peak. At the top of the peak in front of the Cuiyun Palace, there is a huge stone shaped like a lotus flower, so it is also known as Lotus Peak. Take in the views and reflect on the accomplishment of conquering multiple peaks in a single day.
Finally, make your way back to the North Peak, the starting point of your journey, and catch the return cable car down to the foot of the mountain. Enjoy a relaxing descent, savoring the last moments of your mountain adventure. At about 17:00, the driver will wait for you at the exit of the mountain and transfer you back to your hotel.
Lunch: We would like to suggest you prepare some food and bottled water for the whole climb. The lunch is on your own since there is no restaurant on the mountain top.
