- Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
So happy to see you on our 10-day China family tour! This trip departs from Beijing, the capital of China. After arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport, a local driver will warmly welcome you. He will assist you in moving your luggage and then escort you to the hotel in the city center.
After checking in, you can rest well in the comfortable hotel. Later, you can explore the vicinity of the hotel on your own - stroll around the nearby market or taste local street food.

After breakfast, your China family tour begins at Tiananmen Square located in the center of Beijing. Here you can see the magnificent Tiananmen Gate Tower, which is a representative work of traditional Chinese architectural art. Meanwhile, your well-informed guide will share with you several significant events in Chinese history that occurred on this square. Next, walk for about 5 minutes to reach the Imperial Palace, which was a royal palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China, formerly known as the Forbidden City. Under the guidance of your tour guide, traverse the intricate palace complex.

Your Beijing family tour takes you to one of the most popular attractions in Beijing - Summer Palace. This palace was a summer retreat for the Qing emperors and their families, built on Wanshou Mountain and Kunming Lake. It is truly a tranquil escape adorned with classical Chinese gardens. You and your kid can enjoy a boat ride on Kunming Lake.
Afterwards, we head to Beijing Zoo, which is one of the larger and diverse urban zoos in China with a history of over a hundred years. The zoo is divided into three areas: east, south, and north. After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your driver will pick you up in the hotel lobby and escort you to the airport to board a flight to Guilin. After arriving in Guilin, the local tour guide will directly pick you up and start your China family tour in Guilin. The first stop today is Reed Flute Cave. There are numerous exquisitely carved stalagmites, stalactites, stone pillars, and stone flowers inside the cave, like a magnificent underground palace. The famous Chinese novel "Journey to the West" was filmed here.
Next, you will be transferred to visit the natural limestone sculpture Elephant Trunk Hill on the banks of the Li River. It is named after a giant elephant with a long snout drinking from the Li River. Elephant Trunk Hill is lifelike and a typical representative of Guilin's landscape. It was designated as the emblem of Guilin in 1995.

In the morning, your tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and then transfer to board the cruise ship on Li River. The whole Li River cruise last about 4 hours and you will enjoy lunch on the ship. During the cruise, karst peaks covered in green vegetation can be seen everywhere.
Li River Cruise In the afternoon, the cruise ends in Yanshuo. The local driver will meet you at dock and transfer you to have a cultural experience. You can draw pebble painting or learn to practise calligraphy.

In the morning, you will be arranged to join a cooking class. You will first visit a local farm product market to select fresh ingredients and then learn to cook traditional Chinese dishes under the guidance of an expert chef. Enjoy your 'achievements' as lunch.
After that, you can experience an interesting bamboo rafting along the peaceful Yulong River.

Today is the last day of your China family tour in Yangshuo. You will enjoy a countryside cycling tour through the scenic Ten-Mile Gallery lined with karst peaks. After that, we will pay a visit to a local farmer's family to get a glimpse of Chinese rural life and traditional farming.
In the afternoon, you will be escorted to the airport to catch a flight to the bustling metropolis of Hong Kong. It is renowned as the Pearl of the Orient and a Shopping Paradise! In the evening, you can take a leisurely walk along the famous Avenue of Stars, which is a picturesque waterfront promenade where you can seen the Victoria Harbor and the city skyline.

Yangshuo Countryside Cycling - Day 9: Hong Hong Highlights TourPeak Views, Beach Relaxation, Fishing Village Boat Ride, Theme Park Fun
Start your Hong Kong family tour with a visit to Victoria Peak, the highest point on Hong Kong Island. Many travel to Hong Kong just for its magnificent view. It offers a spectacular panorama of the city's skyline, the harbor, and the neighboring islands. You will ride the Peak Tram to the top.
Next, head to Repulse Bay. This is a peaceful beach with a crescent shape, characterized by golden sand beaches and blue seawater. You can swim and take a walk here; There is a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva standing over ten meters high on the beach.
Ascend with the Peak Tram to the Victoria Peak After that, you will be guided to explore Aberdeen Fishing Village, a historical area known for its view above water. You will experience a sampan boat ride (about 20-30 minutes), glimpsing the daily lives of the fishermen.
