- Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai
A warm welcome to our 15-day China tour package departing from Shanghai, China's most bustling metropolis. Upon your arrival at the airport, a local driver will be waiting for you at the exit to escort you to your well-selected hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace.
If you are interested, we can arrange a wonderful Acrobatic Show, which combines traditional Chinese acrobatic art with modern technology to present a visual feast. Performance time: 19:30 to 21:00. (at extra cost)

- Day 2: Shanghai City TourExperience the Past and Present of the Magic City
Begin your China tour in Shanghai with a visit to the Bund, where you will admire buildings of various styles, enjoy the beautiful Huangpu River, and listen to your guide explaining its history. Then, head to Shanghai Museum, which houses millions of collections and especially features bronze wares, porcelain works, paintings, and calligraphy works.
Yuyuan Garden Yuyuan Garden is your next stop. It is a famous classical garden which was originally built by the owner as a place for his parents to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age. Afterwards, you will be guided to ascend the Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China and the third tallest in the world, to enjoy the breathtaking skyline as well as panoramic views of the city.

- Day 3: Shanghai to Huangshan Tour by High-speed TrainVisit Historic Hongcun Village, A UNESCO World Heritage Site
After a hearty breakfast, you will be escorted to the railway station for a 3-hour high-speed train to Huangshan city, boasting the most beautiful mountain in China.
Upon your arrival, the local tour guide will pick you up and then lead you to visit Hongcun Village. It is reputed for its long history and nice natural environment. The village can be dated back to the Song Dynasty in 900 years ago. At present there are 138 architectures from the Ming and the Qing Dynasties. In 2000, the village was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site. After the visit, drive you to your hotel in Huangshan City for check-in.

Hongcun Village - Day 4: Mount Huangshan TourExplore Scenic Peaks of Yellow Mountain
At 08:00 in the morning, your private guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby and then you will be escorted to Mt. Huangshan, one of the top five famous mountains in China.
From the Yungu Cable Car station, you will take the cable car up to the mountain top and then enjoy the beautiful scenery on the mountain: the Guest-Greeting Pine, the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, the Peach Blossom Valley, the Lion Peak, the Flying-over Rock, the Bright Summit, and the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, etc.
Mount Huangshan You will be surprised by the great works by nature. If it is sunny, you could witness the beautiful sunset on the Purple Cloud Peak. (Note: In the early afternoon, we will check in at hotel on mountain top.)

- Day 5: Yellow Mountain to Hangzhou Tour by High-speed TrainWatch Sunrise on Mt. Huangshan & Tour the West Sea Scenic Area
Get up early in the morning and appreciate the sunrise on the mountain top. Go back to hotel for breakfast. Then, you will hike on the mountain to explore the scenery of Xihai (West Sea) Scenic Area. It is famous for its deep valleys & unique peaks. Afterwards, you will take the cable car at Yugu Temple and go down to the mountain foot.
Sunrise over the Mount Huangshan Your guide will transfer you to the railway station, where you will take a high-speed train ride to Hangzhou, one of top 10 beautiful cities in China. After arriving, Hangzhou guide will be waiting to escort you to your hotel in the downtown area.

Your China tour of Hangzhou would be hardly complete without a visit to the impressive West Lake. As one of the top sought-after scenic spots in China, it has been praised by many Chinese literati. The scenery in all four seasons is beautiful and worthy of visiting.
Enjoy a leisure cruise on West Lake Next, head to Lingyin Temple. The temple has a history of about 1,700 years and is considered one of the most significant Buddhist temples in China. You will listen to your guide about its history and stories, and admire various buildings.
After lunch, we will visit the first-class protected area of West Lake Longjing Tea, Dragon Well Tea Plantation, which is also the main source of the Longjing tea. Just walk around the plantation, smell the faint aroma of tea in the air, and try some fine tea. If you come here in spring, you even can join the locals to pick up tea leaves. Last, you can visit a traditional Chinese Medicine Drugstore to learn about traditional healing practices.

- Day 7: Hangzhou to Guilin Tour
After breakfast, the morning is free for you to explore the city on your own. You can visit the bustling morning markets, streets, or take a final stroll by the West Lake.
In the afternoon, your private driver will escort you to the airport for your flight to Guilin, a city enjoying the reputation of "the best landscape in the world". Upon your arrival, Guilin tour guide will be there to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Longshen town.

- Day 8: Longsheng TourHike the Breathtaking Rice Terraces & Learn about Local Culture
Today, you will enjoy a day trip to rice terraces. After arrival at the foot of the mountain, you will walk about 35 minutes or so to the Ping'an Village. The village is home to the nationally renowned, 650-year-old Longji Rice Terraces.
Your eyes will be treated to a spectacular view of the terraced fields, just like a cascading sea of green. Take a short break at a local restaurant in the village. After that, take a guided hike to a viewing platform for more breathtaking views. During this time, you will learn about the unique ethnic minority culture of the region.
Longji Rice Terraces At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to Guilin for a visit to Reed Flute Cave, which is acclaimed as the "Palace of Natural Arts". You will witness a lot of intricate and translucent stalactites, stalagmites, stone columns, and stone flowers. The entire cave resembles a grand and magnificent underground palace crafted from gems, coral, and jade.

- Day 9: Li River Cruise Tour to YangshuoEnjoy a Scenic 4-hour Li River Cruise from Guilin
In the morning, meet your guide and driver in your Guilin hotel at around 08:30 and transfer to Mopanshan Dock of Li River to catch the cruise ship starting at 09:30.
We will board the 3-star cruising ship. The whole Li River cruise lasts about 4-4.5 hours and lunch is included on the ship. During the cruise period, you will have a outer visit of the highlight sites in Guilin. Witness one of the most beautiful work by nature.
At about 13:30, the cruise will end in Yanshuo. The local driver will meet you at dock and transfer you to the must-go place - West Street. Take a walk in this 1,400-year-old street for about 1 hour to see lots of ancient style buildings, see local people's life and try some local food if you like.

Li River Cruise - Day 10: Yangshuo to Xian TourGo on A Cycling Your in Idyllic Countryside and Villages
After enjoying breakfast, you will hop on a cycling tour in the picturesque countryside of Yangshuo. Led by your private guide, you ride along the "Little Li River" - Yulong River, passing by local villages, emerald rice paddies, and limestone Karst hills.
After the cycling tour, your guide will escort you back to Guilin for your flight to the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties, Xi'an.

Yangshuo Countryside Cycling - Day 11: Xian Terracotta Warriors TourDig into Profound Historic Heritages of the Ancient City
Your China tour in Xian will start with the Terracotta Warriors. Known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Terracotta Warriors slept under the ground for 2,200 years before the accidental discovery by local farmers who were digging wells. The life-size terracotta warriors differ from one another in clothing, hairstyle, posture, and facial expression. Since its opening to the public in 1979, it has attracted millions of people from all over the world each year and has become one of the things that represent China throughout the world.
Make a Mini Terracotta Warrior After a Chinese-style lunch, we will take you to experience making a mini terracotta figure. It will be once-in-a-lifetime. After that, drive back to Xian downtown to visit the Ancient City Wall, a military defensive system in old times. You can optionally ride a bike on the top of the City Wall and enjoy the amazing view of the entire area inside the City Wall.
If time permits, you can visit the famous Muslim Street, which is a paradise for food lovers where you can find many kinds of delicious local snacks such as Biang Biang Noodle, Roujiamo (Chinese Hamburger), and Yangrou Paomo (Mutton and Bread Pieces in Soup).

- Day 12: Xian to Beijing TourLearn about Emperor Jingdi's Tomb and Artifacts at Hanyang Mausoleum
After breakfast, check out and say goodbye to Xian. Your guide will escort you to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport. Along the way, make a stop and take a guided tour of the Hanyang Mausoleum Museum.
This historic site was built for Emperor Jingdi and the Empress Wang of the Han Dynasty. Unlike the more famous Terracotta Warriors, the Hanyang Mausoleum has a complex layout that includes the emperor's tomb and surrounding sacrificial pits. You'll get a closer look at the royal Han tombs as well as the carefully preserved ceramic figures, animals, and other artifacts. Your guide will discover the secrets behind the construction of the tomb and share anecdotes from the lives of Emperor Jing and the Queen.

Hanyang Mausoleum - Day 13: Beijing TourAdmire the Magnificent Imperial Buildings from Hundreds of Years Ago
This is the last city of your 15-day China private tour. After breakfast, start your Beijing tour at Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years.
Next, you will be guided to walk to the Forbidden City, one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complexes built of wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). 24 emperors of the two dynasties once lived here.
Forbidden City In the afternoon, head to the Temple of Heaven. Located in the southern part of Beijing, it served as a complex of sacrificial buildings where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest.
In the evening, you have the option of watching a Chinese Kung Fu Show where skilled performers demonstrate martial arts techniques and acrobatics (extra charge).

- Day 14: Great Wall TourEnjoy a Great Wall Hike on Mutianyu, Explore the 2008 Olympic Sites
Today, you will be transferred to enjoy a Great Wall hiking tour on Mutianyu Section. Built in the early Ming Dynasty in 1368 and stretching for 5,400 meters, it is the most scenic part of the Chinese Great Wall. 90 percent of the Mutianyu is covered by vegetation. So in each season, this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery.
If pure hiking is too much for you, there are also options for cable car and toboggan to see the spectacular scenery from different angles (optional).
Sliding down the toboggan at Mutianyu After lunch, transfer to the Ming Tomb. On the way to the Ming Tomb, you will pass through the Sacred Way. The Ming Tomb is the place where 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) were buried. On the way back to the downtown center, we will visit the Bird's Nest and Water Cube which were built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Walking around the outside of the building to appreciate the unique design and take some pictures is recommended.
