Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: BeijingSummer palace, Mutianyu Great Wall (Lunch)
AM: At 8:00, our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and then starts the first day with the Mutianyu Great Wall after about 2 hours driving. Mutianyu Great Wall is the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty at 1368 and stretches for 5400 meters. 90 percent of the Mutianyu Great Wall is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional (you can pay cash on spot).
Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.
PM: After lunch, come to Summer palace. It is the largest and best-preserved royal park in China for emperors’ entertainment with centralized architectural masterpieces.
Finally, finish today with hotel drop-off.

Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall - Day 2: BeijingTiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Jinshan Park (Lunch)
AM: At 08:30, meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby. Today begins with Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. After a short sightseeing at Tiananmen Square to learn about its history, architecture and anecdotes, you will walk across the Golden Water Bridge and come to the splendid Forbidden City built 600 years ago, where you will be impressed by the gorgeous imperial palaces and vast storage of historical relics.
Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.
PM: Afterward, visit the Temple of Heaven where Emperors of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties prayed for agriculture harvest from Heaven yearly. At last, take a walk in Jingshan Park which locates close to Forbidden City. Climbing up to the top of Jingshan Hill you may have a overlook of building complex of Forbidden City. After the whole day’s tour, return to your hotel.
