Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province sitting in the southwest of China, strikingly featured in “home of pandas”, “Sichuan cuisine” “capital of fun with slow life pace” and “addiction of Mah-jong” which forcefully dominates people’s first impression of the city. Obviously, it is a paradise for FUN! Except for a few dynasties in history, Chengdu had been kept away from the Chinese political center, in response to its topography of basin embraced by lofty mountains around to block invaders’ way, therefore, the locals have been able to focus on life itself and generated such a splendid culture only existed in Chengdu for thousands of years.

Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Chengdu ArrivalJinli Old Street (Dinner)
Our guide and driver will be waiting for you at the exit of Chengdu airport / train station by holding a welcome sign with your name. Then you will be transferred to the hotel. After a short rest, you will be escorted to visit Jinli Old Street. That street used to be one of the oldest and busiest commercial streets of Shu Kingdom. In that street tourists will see some typical elements of Chengdu lifestyle. E.g. Tea houses, taverns, bars, local snacks, handcrafts, local specialties, etc.
In the evening you will try tasty Sichuan Food in a local restaurant. Sichuan Food is one of the eight main cuisines in China. Believe your taste buds will be satisfied by the meal.

Jinli Pedestrian Street - Day 2: Chengdu DepartureChengdu Panda Breeding Center, Wuhou Temple (Breakfast + Lunch)
AM: At around 08:30, our English speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from Chengdu downtown hotel, and your amazing exploration begins!
The first scenic site will be the exciting Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, which is well known for the protection and breeding of the endangered giant pandas which are unique to China. The base is definitely a highlight for most visitors to Chengdu. There are adorable pandas everywhere. You can watch them eating bamboo, playing with each other, and of course sleeping. Your tour guide will navigate you through the huge area, share some information about the pandas, and help you take amazing photos.
Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.
Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding PM: Afterward we will pay a visit to Wuhou Temple – the memorial temple of Zhuge Liang, the outstanding strategist of Shu Kingdom in the Three Kingdoms Period (220-280).
After sightseeing transfer to Chengdu airport/train station.
