Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Chengdu – Xian by Bullet TrainChengdu Panda Breeding Center, Wuhou Temple (Lunch)
At around 08:30, our English-speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from the Chengdu downtown hotel, and your amazing exploration will begin!
Commence your journey with a visit to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, renowned for its commitment to the conservation and breeding of China's unique and endangered giant pandas. A highlight for most Chengdu visitors, the base offers an immersive experience with adorable pandas engaged in various activities—eating bamboo, playful interactions, and, of course, their endearing naps. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you through the expansive grounds, sharing insights about the pandas and assisting in capturing memorable photos. Following this, explore Wuhou Temple, a memorial dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the brilliant strategist of the Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms Period (220-280 A.D.).
After the sightseeing, you will be transferred to Chengdu East Train Station for a high-speed train to Xian. Meet the Xian driver and transfer to your hotel.

At 9:00 am, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. Begin your journey with a visit to the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum in Lintong District. Spanning 22,780 square meters across three pits, this museum showcases the extraordinary craftsmanship and sculpture of the terracotta warriors and horses. Regarded as one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, this site is an unmissable spectacle for every visitor to China.
Terracotta Warriors photographed by our customer in April 2023 In the afternoon, your next destination is the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, constructed in 652 A.D. during the Tang Dynasty to house Buddhist sutras and Buddha figurines brought back from India by Xuanzang. Surrounding the pagoda is a spacious square, divided into North and South Squares. The architectural design and statues showcase the Tang style, offering visitors a glimpse into the grandeur of that historical era. Explore the cultural and historical richness of this iconic site, reflecting the splendor of the Tang Dynasty.
After the tour, you will be transferred to the train station/airport for departure.
