Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Terracotta Warriors and Big Wild Goose Pagoda Bus Tour
   Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Lunch)

   After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit the burial pits of the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang - the Terracotta Army. Revered as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," these terracotta warriors were accidentally discovered by local farmers in 1974 while digging a well. Subsequently, large-scale archaeological excavations began. Today, we will explore three pits. Pit 1 is the largest, measuring 230 meters in length and 62 meters in width, containing approximately 6,000 terracotta figures, including infantry, cavalry, and chariots. Pit 2 is a multifunctional military formation, featuring infantry, cavalry, crossbowmen, and 69 chariots. Pit 3 serves as a command center, smaller in scale, with around 68 terracotta figures and a chariot. In addition to the terracotta warriors, the burial site has yielded a wealth of precious artifacts, such as bronze, gold, and silver items, jade objects, and stone carvings, reflecting the economic, cultural, and artistic achievements of the Qin Dynasty.

   

   After lunch at a nearby restaurant, we will drive by Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum on the way back downtown and have a glimpse of it on the bus. Then, we will visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda is an iconic structure of the Tang Dynasty and a treasure of Buddhist culture. Supervised by the monk Xuanzang, it was built to house Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back from India. Standing at a height of 64.517 meters, with a base side length of 25.5 meters, the Pagoda is the earliest and largest surviving square brick pagoda from the Tang Dynasty. It is not only a repository of Buddhist art but also a testament to the wisdom of ancient Chinese laborers. You can ascend the pagoda to enjoy panoramic views of Xi'an (optional), experiencing the charm of this ancient capital.

   After the visit, you will be escorted back to the hotel.

2. Day 2: Mt. Huashan Bus Tour
   Mt. Huashan (No meal)

   8:00 am: Our guide and driver will warmly greet you at your hotel lobby in Xian. Once all the tourists are gathered, we'll take a scenic 2-hour ride to the majestic Mt. Huashan. Mount Hua, historically known as the "Western Mountain," is one of the renowned Five Great Mountains in China. Located in Huayin City, Weinan, it is approximately 120 kilometers away from Xi'an. Huashan is famous for its steep and precipitous terrain, earning it the reputation of being the "most precipitous mountain under heaven." As one of the sacred sites of Chinese Taoism, Mount Hua boasts not only magnificent natural scenery but also a rich cultural heritage.

   We will reach the awe-inspiring Mt. Huashan between 10:00 - 11:00 am. Then, you will be guided to take a picturesque shuttle bus ride to the base of the North Peak. From there, get ready for an exhilarating ascent by boarding the cable car that will carry you up to the mountain. Your guide will provide details on the climbing route and designate a meeting point. Enjoy 4 to 5 hours of free time to explore the beauty of Mt. Huashan. Feel free to climb 3 to 5 peaks based on your interests. Capture stunning photos and relish the breathtaking scenery. For thrill-seekers, there are exciting activities like the plank road to make your experience unforgettable.

   Lunch: As there are no restaurants on the mountain top, lunch is on your own. Remember to bring a packed lunch to keep you energized for the adventure.

   5:00 pm: Gather at the appointed meeting place, and our guide will lead you to the cable car for a descent to the foot of the North Peak. From there, hop on the shuttle bus to head towards the exit.

   Then board our comfortable car back to Xian, where you can relax and reflect on the day's incredible experiences.
