Mount Lushan is a famous tourist attraction and summer resort in China, which was listed in the “World Natural and Cultural Heritage List” in 1996. It has been immortalized in poems by many famous poets.
This 2-day Mt. Lushan tour will take you to see all the highlights of Lushan Mountain, such as the Immortal Cave, the Triassic Spring Waterfall, the Three Precious Trees, and the Botanical Garden. The hiking routes are divided into West and East routes. The sightseeing bus will take you between the attractions. You will also experience spending a night at the summit. If you happen to visit Mt. Lushan in fall, you will enjoy a large area of red maple trees.

Welcome to our 2-day Mount Lushan tour! You can arrive by train at Jiujiang Railway Station or fly to Jiujiang Mount Lushan Airport where your guide will pick you up and escort you directly to your hotel at the top of the mountain to check in.
After dropping off your luggage, your guide will take you on a tour of Mount Lushan starting with Ruqin Lake, so named because the lake is shaped like a violin. The lake is surrounded by peaks and ridges, and the environment is quiet and elegant. There is a small island in the center of the lake with many artificially bred peacocks, so it is called Peacock Island.
Ruqin Lake Then, walk to the Flower Trail and enjoy the brightly colored flowers. Bai Juyi, a famous poet of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), once composed a poem here. The next stop is one of the famous attractions of Mount Lu - the Xianren Cave (Immortal Cave), made up of sandy cliffs. Legend has it that Lv Dongbin, a famous Taoist priest in the Tang Dynasty, once practiced in this cave until he became immortal.
Continue on, enjoying the grandeur of Mount Lu along the way until you reach the Sanbao Trees, Three Precious Trees. As the name suggests it is three threes, two of which are Willow Firs with a history of 600 years and one of which is a Ginkgo with a history of 1,600 years.
After a short break here, continue your hike to the former site of the Lushan Conference and the Meilu Villa. Here you will learn the historical story of the period of the Republic of China (1912-1949) through physical objects, photos, and images. After the visit, return to the hotel for the night.

After breakfast, you will be guided to Mount Lushan's No.1 attraction - the Triassic Spring Waterfall, with a drop of 155 meters. As the saying goes, you haven't been to Mount Lushan without visiting the Triassic Spring Waterfall. With the power of a galloping horse and the sound of a bell, the Triassic Spring Waterfall is quite spectacular.
Triassic Spring Waterfall Next, go to the Botanical Garden. This is the first alpine botanical garden in China, founded in 1934. The botanical garden has a collection of more than 100,000 plant specimens from home and abroad, including the Chinese Metasequoia, which is known as a "living fossil". In the garden, there is a rest hall, and stone benches and tables under the shade for visitors to take a rest.
After resting for a while, you will go to Hanpo Pass, 1,286 meters above sea level, where you will have a distant view of the three highest peaks of Mount Lu and Poyang Lake, the largest freshwater lake in China.
After that, your 2-day Lushan tour comes to an end. Your guide will take you out of the scenic area to the airport or train station to drop you off.
Note: You will need to climb many steps on the way to the Triassic Spring Waterfall, so please walk according to your own physical conditions.
