Tour Overview
If you are looking for a Beijing tour to see the Great Wall without the interruption of many tourists, or to experience the wild Great Wall in its most original unrestored condition, this 2-day Great Wall hiking tour should be your ideal choice.
Hiking from Gubeikou to Jinshanling, you will look into the most highlighted sections of the Great Wall, uncover the comprehensive military defense system in ancient China, be impressed by many amazing natural views, and experience unique overnight camping on the Great Wall.
The hiking duration is about 3-4 hours each day, and most of the hiking is moderate, and rewarding for all hiking, photography, nature, and history lovers.
Jinshanling Great Wall is believed as the most beautiful section of the Great Wall of China. With both un-restored and restored sections, Jinshanling preserves the quintessence of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, including dense watchtowers and a comprehensive military defense system.
Gubeikou is a wild Great Wall section retaining its original composition. Once served as an important pass between ancient China and Mongol, Gubeikou is more interesting historically.
