Yanyuan Garden
The Garden is located in the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area. It is 20 minutes drive from Bell Tower. Besides the calligraphy learning, you could pay a visit to the exhibition hall of Xi’an Museum and the ancient Chinese-style courtyard of Small Wilde Goose Pagoda. There is no entrance fee unless you climb the Small Wild Goose Pagoda.
Beilin Museum (Museum of Stone Steles)
Beilin Museum near Bell Tower is called the No.1 library of stone books in China. The museum collects large quantities of inscribed steles made from the Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) to the Qing Dynasty (1616-1912). The steles bear both Chinese calligraphy art and traditional Chinese literature content. And the steles also explain the mainstream culture transmission method in ancient China. If you are a fan of Chinese history and culture, a visit to the Beilin Museum after the end of a calligraphy class is a great opportunity to gain some insight into the art of Chinese calligraphy.

Tangbo Art Museum
Tangbo Art Museum is located close to Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Exhibits in the museum are small in scale but each exhibit is interesting and exquisite. Chinese calligraphy learning is part of the museum visit.

It’s no problem if you have no idea about Chinese calligraphy before, as long as you are enthusiastic and willing to hold a brush.
Please take care when taking the calligraphy class. The ink and writing brush may smear your jacket.
