3-Day Classic Harbin City Tour with Ice and Snow World

Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Harbin Arrival

   Welcome to the Ice City of Harbin! Upon your arrival at Harbin airport, your private driver will greet you at the exit of the arrival hall by holding a name sign and transfer you to your Harbin downtown hotel. The rest of the day is free for you.

   We highly recommend you visit Zhaolin Park, where the fascinating Ice Lantern Show is held every year from January 5 to the end of February (free admission). Here you can not only admire the ice sculptures made by various artists and skilled craftsmen, but also enjoy skating and ice skating!

   If you need any other suggestions in your free time, we will be very happy to help you.

2. Day 2: Harbin Ice Snow Festival Tour
   Experience Harbin Snowy Wonders, Majestic Tigers and Fun Ice Activities

   In the morning after breakfast, your guide and driver will greet you at your hotel lobby and take you to explore this charming city. First, your guided Harbin tour package takes you to the famous Sun Island on the north bank of the Songhua River. You will see lovely squirrels and swans, experience Russian customs, and appreciate the amazing snow sculptures of various shapes. Next, go to visit Siberian Tiger Park. With an area of 1,440,000 square meters, the park was built to save and protect the endangered Siberian tigers. You will see them playing and fighting with each other.

   

   After lunch, you will move on to Saint Sophia Cathedral, a typical Byzantine-style Orthodox Church built in 1907 by Russia. Just follow your guide to learn its history and admire the magnificent architecture outside. Next, have a walk on the Central Street. You can see many old buildings of various styles on this bustling pedestrian street.

   In the late afternoon, you will visit the incredible Harbin Ice and Snow World. Stroll around to enjoy the world's finest examples of ice art against the dazzling lights. There are many entertainment programs in the Ice and Snow World, and you can climb up the ice castle, experience the world's longest ice slide, ice bikes, snowmobiles, and various other activities.

   After that, your guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel.

   WARM TIPS:

   • Please take enough warm clothes and shoes as Harbin is icy cold in winter to keep yourself warm and fully enjoy the spectacular scenery.
   • Ice and Snow World can get crowded during the winter holidays or weekends. You may need to wait a long time in the queue.

3. Day 3: Harbin Departure
   Watch Winter Swimming and Learn the History of Harbin

   Today will be your last day in Harbin with us. Please get your luggage ready in advance. Your guide and driver will meet you again at your hotel lobby, help you check out, and take you to explore three more sites.

   You will be guided to the Songhua River to see winter swimming first. While fully armed visitors are shivering from the cold, the brave swimmers plunge into the ice pool. Then head to the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum. The museum's main Baroque-style building was built based on a Russian shopping mall. It has become a first-class state-protected architecture. The museum houses more than 627,982 pieces of collections including historical relics, artworks, and natural specimens.

   

   Next, continue your Harbin tour to Hongbo Square, a super large comprehensive underground commerce center combining trading, dining, and entertainment. There is a landmark building at the center of the square, a glass house with a stainless steel ball on its top. Many famous brands have stores on the square. You can get some nice things here if you like.

   After lunch, your guide and driver will escort you to the airport or train station. Wish you a pleasant journey.
