Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Beihai ArrivalSilver Beach, Old Quarter
Please make your own way to Beihai before noon. Upon arrival, your English-speaking guide and driver will greet you at the exit gate by holding a board with "JoyTravel".
After collecting all clients, your guide will escort you to Silver Beach, which is blessed with cheery sunshine and an amazing sea view. The beach got its name for the high-quality quartz sands which show silver shining light under the sunlight.
With fine and pure sand, a flat beach, clean seawater, and comfortable temperature, Silver Beach is described as an ideal bathing beach and holiday resort for sea sports.
Silver Beach After relaxing time at the beach, follow your guide to the Old Quarter, an amazing area to meet many colonial-era architectures and absorb the cultural charm Beihai offers.
Founded in the second half of the 19th century, it's the place to see some relics of Western colonial consulates, hospitals, churches, and schools. The streets are lined with life-size bronze sculptures, food vendors, souvenir shops, fine cafes, excellent restaurants, and bars, showcasing the relaxing atmosphere and character of Beihai.
At the end of the day, transfer you to a local hotel for check-in.

Beihai Old Quarter - Day 2: Beihai - Weizhou IslandWeizhou Island, Crocodile Crater Park, Weizhou Catholic Church, Beaches, South Bay
After breakfast, head to the Beihai Pier for a 70 minutes ferry ride to Weizhou Island. As the largest and youngest volcanic island in China, Weizhou Island will excite visitors with volcanic lava, unique sea erosion landscapes, luxuriant vegetation, religious architecture, colorful coral, wide beaches, and various water sports.
Hike through the Crocodile Crater Park to view volcanic rocks of different shapes that were formed by molten lava several millennia ago.
Weizhou Island Then, enjoy a leisure walk around the historical Weizhou Catholic Church. Being built with coral and volcanic rocks from the seabed, the church is a typical neo-Gothic style architecture from the French Renaissance period. The resonating bells and strong walls are witnesses of its history.
Besides, Weizhou offers some of the best beaches in the country. The sea around Weizhou is rich in corals and other marine animals. You could have fun on the wide beautiful beaches, enjoying the sea breeze, diving, snorkeling, or fishing.
The seafood market at South Bay sells a wide range of fresh seafood, snacks, fruits, and beverages.

Enjoy the peaceful morning at Weizhou Island, you can get up early to catch the amazing sunrise over the beach.
For the rest of the morning, you can take the local motor tricycle or rent a bike to explore Weizhou Island (optional, pay on your own).
In the afternoon, your guide will take you to the pier to board the ferry to Beihai. Then the guide and driver will transfer you to Beihai airport for departure.
