Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Beijing to Xian Tour by Overnight Train
Our local driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby in later afternoon by holding a name board and transfer to Beijing West Train Station for the overnight train Z41/18:46-8:01+1 (or a train with a similar schedule) to Xian.

When you arrive at Xian in the morning, our tour guide and driver will greet you at the exit of Xian train station. Your Xian tour begins with Big Wild Goose Pagoda. On the way to the attraction spot, your guide will introduce the history and culture of this ancient city for you.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda was originally built to hold Buddhist sutra and figurines of the Buddha that Xuanzang brought back from India in the Tang Dynasty, 652 A.D. Now there is a big square divided into North Square and South Square, surrounding the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The design of the buildings and statues is in Tang style, showing people the ever glory of that great time.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area is the twin of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Both the two pagodas are important witnesses to the history of the Great Tang Dynasty. It was also built to store the Buddhist scriptures brought from Ancient India by the master monk Xuanzang. Different from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Small Wild Goose Pagoda attracts visitors with its special charms that keep quiet and peaceful in the bustling downtown area.
Inside the scenic area, be guided to visit the Xian Museum to learn about the city’s history and appreciate some exquisite relics unearthed in the local area.

Xian Museum - Day 3: Xian Terracotta Warriors TourMarvel at the Life-size Clay Warriors
Please be ready for the tour today at the hotel lobby after breakfast. Drive about 1 hour to a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the world-famous Terracotta Warriors, which is one of the most important archaeological finds of the 20th century. Marvel at the life-size sculptures of the warriors buried with Qin Shi Huang, China's first emperor. Through your knowledgeable tour guide, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history and excavations of this incredible site.
Terracotta Warriors in Xian Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, go to Huaqing Hot Springs. It’s the Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty’s winter palace where they could enjoy hot springs in the cold winter. Emperor Xuanzong and his favorite Concubine Yang Yuhuan spent a lot of happy time here. You will learn about the ever prosperity of the Tang Dynasty here and also the moving love story between Xuangzong Emperor and Yang Yuhuan. Finally, return hotel.

- Day 4: Xian to Beijing Tour by Bullet TrainOptionally Take a Bike Ride on City Wall and Try Local Snacks
Today's first stop is the Xian Ancient City Wall. Built in the Ming Dynasty, 1370 A.D., it is not only the unique and intact city wall that has survived in China but also the biggest and most complete military system of defense in the world. Walking or riding a bike (optional with cost on your own) on the 600-year-old wall is definitely a lifetime experience.
Bike Riding on the Xian City Wall Next, come to Bell and Drum Tower Square which is located in the very center of the city and is considered as the symbol of this old capital. Walking forward, you will come to the Muslim Quarter where you will find many special local products and authentic local snacks. You can enjoy preserved meat, casserole, and various noodles, and purchase some Terracotta Warriors imitations as souvenirs.
After the tour, depart with the guide and driver at Xian North Train Station for a high-speed train to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, our local driver (no guide) will hold a name sign and wait for you at the exit. Finish the tour with a Beijing hotel drop-off.
