3 Days Classic Changbai Mountain Tour

Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Changbaishan Arrival

   Welcome to Changbai Mountain! Upon your arrival, the local driver will pick you up from the airport between 14:00 and 16:00, and then escort you to check into the hotel in Changbaishan International Resort.

   You could have a good rest and later take a leisurely stroll around the area. (No guide service)

   Note: Beyond the pick-up time range, you can take the free shuttle bus from the airport to your hotel.

2. Day 2: Changbaishan North Slope Sightseeing
   Heavenly Lake, Changbai Waterfall, Small Heavenly Lake, Lvyuan Pool, Valley Forest

   After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of the North Slope of Changbai Mountain with beautiful scenery along the way. (You are advised to bring some snacks for lunch)

   

   Changbai Mountain is a dormant volcano with rare animals, dense forests, and crystal-clear lakes. We will take a sightseeing bus to Heavenly Lake, the highest volcanic lake in the world, at an altitude of 2,189 meters. Against the blue sky and white clouds, the calm Heavenly Lake, surrounded by 16 peaks, looks like a blue jade.

   Then, get down for the spectacular Changbai Waterfall with a 68-meter drop, formed when the water from Heavenly Lake cascades down. From the observation deck, you can admire two strands, like two huge flying dragons flying over the ground.

   

   Return to the Small Heavenly Lake hidden in the pristine birch forest and take a leisurely stroll along the clear stream there. Continue on to Lvyuan Pool (Green Deep Pool) - a waterfall falls from the cliff into the pool, adding color and elegance to the water.

   Today's tour ends in the Valley Forest - a natural oxygen bar. Take a walk at the bottom of the valley with tall old trees and huge rocks to experience the silence and coolness of the pristine forest. Afterwards, take a sightseeing bus ride down the mountain.

   After the tour, return to Changbaishan Resort.

   Note: You can also choose to visit the West Slope instead of the North Slope, or spend 1 extra day visiting the West Slope. Generally speaking, the West Slope is not so crowded, where the beautiful wildflowers catch your eye in summer.

3. Day 3: Changbaishan Departure
   Enjoy a relaxing time

   After breakfast, you could enjoy a relaxing time at the well-equipped fitness center, take a walk around the enchanting resort area, have fun at the water park, bath in Hannashan Hot Spring or try popular activities such as cycling, sightseeing, and cable car riding.

   In the afternoon (About 17:00), your driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure. This is the end of your Changbai Mountain trip.
