Welcome to Dali to spend 3 leisure days! Your private guide and driver will greet you holding a name-board at the airport upon your arrival, and then transfer you to your hotel for check-in. You will stay overnight in the Old Town of Dali today.
You will stroll along the alleys of the ancient city and enjoy its languid atmosphere. Also catch the sight of those wearing traditional ethnic costumes and take a leisure walk in the market street selling various souvenirs. In addition, there are also some historic sites like the city wall, Foreigners Street, Gate Towers, and so on. You will get some basic facts about these ancient buildings.

Dali Ancient Town - Day 2: Dali Nature TourHike Scenic Trails and Enjoy Lakeside Leisure by Optional Bike
Meet your tour guide after breakfast, then we head to the famous Cangshan Mountain. You will take the ropeway up the mountain to feel the vagaries of mountain clouds and fog.
There is an 18-kilometer-long trail built on the hillside of the mountain, known as the "jade belt roaming road". Walking on the 2,600-meter-high jade belt road, you can see the scenery of Erhai Lake at any time. Along the road, follow your guide to pass several mini sites including Xima Pond and Zhonghe Temple, etc. After the hike, take the ropeway down the mountain and then reward your appetite with Yunnan cuisine.
Cangshan Mountains In the afternoon, be guided to visit the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, an important cultural symbol and iconic landmark of Dali, with Erhai Lake in the east and Cangshan Mountain in the west. Learn about the history of the Three Pagodas and Chongsheng Temple.
Finally, spend some leisure time around the Erhai Lake. It is the second largest lake in Yunnan after Dianchi. You are suggested to rent a bike and cycle around the lake. While enjoying the fresh air and natural surroundings, you can stop and visit any villages on your way as you wish.
At the end of today, the guide will escort you to your hotel.

Dali Three Pagodas in Chongshen Monastery - Day 3: Dali Culture Tour, DepartureExplore Bai Minority Culture and Learn Tie-dye Crafts
In the morning, today's Dali trip takes you to Bai Minority Traditional Houses in Xizhou Town. Follow your tour guide to explore the distinctive dwellings with typical minority culture and you may also have a chance to see the process of local food making, which is called Baba as the specialty.
Next, move to Zhoucheng to explore the ancient handcraft of tie-dying. You will have the chance to enter the workshop to learn the procedure of the skill and try to do it personally on your own willingness (optional, at your own expense).
Later on, we stop by a former mansion of Yan's Family where you can learn the layout of the Chinese courtyard of Bai minority style and appreciate its wood sculpture as well as the architectural ornament.
