This 3-day Jingdezhen tour will take you to give you a glimpse of China’s porcelain cultural heritage. Start in Nanchang where you will have free time to explore the city as well as sample the local cuisine.

Then drive to Jingdezhen, the famous porcelain capital of China, to fully explore the history and culture of ceramics by visiting ancient kiln sites, admiring the exquisite porcelain from different dynasties of China, and even try your hand at making a potter’s vessel.

Finally visit a thousand year old village in Anyi County. Here you will be fully immersed in the exquisite Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient architecture as well as the unique Gan business culture.

Day 1: Nanchang Arrival

You can arrive in Nanchang at any time convenient by plane or train, and our local driver will meet you and then transfer you to your well-selected hotel in Nanchang. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.

The city's long and splendid history has endowed it with numerous cultural relics, the most famous of which is the Pavilion of Prince Teng. If time permits, you can visit it on your own. Besides, you are highly recommended to sample the many local delicacies such as Rice Noodles and Shitou Street Fried Dough Twists.

Day 2: Nanchang to Jingdezhen Tour
Explore Rich Porcelain Heritage and Create Your Own Pottery

After breakfast, drive about 2 hours to Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of China! The porcelain here is famous for its exquisite craftsmanship at home and abroad. Today, you will have a full day exploring porcelain. First, we will visit Jingdezhen Ancient Kilns & Folk Customs Museum, China's only national 5A-level tourist attraction focusing on ceramic culture. You will not only enjoy the exquisite porcelain from the Song Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, but learn how ancient Chinese porcelain was made.

Jingdezhen Ancient Kilns & Folk Customs Museum

Next, we take you to visit another icon of Jingdezhen, the China Ceramic Museum. The museum has nine exhibition halls and a collection of over 50,000 pieces of porcelain. Almost all of China's rarest and most beautiful ceramic relics can be seen here. Besides ancient ceramics, you can also see many various craft ceramics of Jingdezhen since the founding of New China.

After that, we will drive to Fuliang County (30 minutes), where you will be guided to walk into a DIY pottery experience center to make ceramics under the guidance of a professional master. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Day 3: Nanchang Departure
Discover the 1,400-year-old Anyi Village with Historic Ming and Qing Architecture

After breakfast at the hotel, drive about 2.5 hours to Anyi County for a day tour of the Thousand-Year-Old Village. With a history of more than 1,400 years, this village is a typical Ganshang (a famous merchant group with a long history in China) cultural village in China.

More than 100 ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing dynasties are scattered in the ancient village, connected by a sea of flowers.

After the tour, we'll drive back to Nanchang. And your guide will escort you to the airport or train station for your onward journey or return home. Your 3-day Nanchang Jingdezhen tour ends here. Safe journey!
