Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Harbin Arrival & Harbin Tour
   Enjoy the Highlights of Harbin with the Ice and Snow Festival

   Upon your arrival at Harbin airport/train station (you are suggested to arrive before 10 am), our English-speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from the exit gate by holding a welcome board with your name.

   Start your Harbin tour at the Siberian Tiger Park. It is a reserve dedicated to the breeding and protection of the Northeast Tiger, aiming to provide a suitable environment for the endangered tigers. You will see wild northeast tigers, white lions, leopards and so on.

   

   Next, take a walk on the famous Central Street, which is a bustling pedestrian street near Sophia Church. In the street, you will meet many old buildings built in various Western styles built in the early 1900s. Walking forward, you can have an exterior look of the Saint Sophia Church.

   Later, you will be transferred to Sun Island to join the International Snow Sculpture Expo, which is one of the highlights of the annual Harbin Ice and Snow Festival. You can enjoy a large number of realistic and stunning snow sculptures in different attention areas. In addition, you could experience entertainment activities such as slides and snow off-road vehicles (at an additional cost).

   

   Friendly Tip: People also can take a cable car along the Songhua River to arrive at Sun Island Park. It is an optional choice to better enjoy the Songhua River view. If you would like to take it, just please pay in cash at the spot.

   In the late afternoon, go to explore the fantastic Ice and Snow World Festival, the must-visit place in Harbin in winter. There are various kinds of ice sculptures, exciting snow entertainment projects, and interesting themed performances. You can stroll around to enjoy the world's finest examples of ice art against the dazzling lights.

   Note: Ice and Snow World can get crowded during the winter holidays or weekends. You may need to wait a long time on the queue.

2. Day 2: Harbin to Yabuli Ski Resort Tour, Snow Town Arrival
   Engage in Exciting Skiing and Stroll on Xueyun Street in Snow Town

   After breakfast, we drive for around 3 hours to Yabuli Ski Resort. En route, enjoy the beautiful scenery. Since its establishment, Yabuli Ski Resort has hosted several National Winter Games and has very complete facilities, including more than ten beginner, intermediate, and advanced ski slopes. Among them, the 4th Ski Slope is the longest alpine ski slope in Asia.

   After arrival, your guide will help you check in and take a good rest before the afternoon activities. You can enjoy a fun 3-hour skiing on the elementary trails at the resort. Some basic skiing facilities will be provided to you. For those seeking excitement, they can pay extra to experience the fun of skiing on higher-level ski slopes. In addition, you can also try snow entertainment projects such as snowmobiles here.

   

   In the late afternoon, drive around 2.5 hours to Snow Town. Upon arrival, check in at a local hotel and have a short rest. Xueyun Street is the liveliest part of the town where you can take a stroll. At night, Snow Town becomes a magical wonderland. The white snow reflects the soft light.

   Special note: Snow Town's accommodation is very limited during the peak season every winter. Thus, the usual hotel standard is a local guesthouse with at least 2 pax sharing one room. If you are looking for a better hotel instead of the guesthouse, please inform us as early as you can because good hotels sell too fast in Snow Town. You need to reserve it a few months in advance.

3. Day 3: Snow Town to Harbin Tour & Departure
   Optionally Go to Photographer's Paradises

   This morning, enjoy your leisure time in Snow Town and take photos of many of your favorite landscapes. Some locations are chargeable, such as Yangcaoshan Hill and Dream House (optional, pay on your own). If you would like to go there, your guide will arrange it for you.

   Yangcaoshan Hill is the most beautiful place around Snow Town. It is named after the sparse trees and abundant grass on the mountaintop in this vast primitive forest. On the way to it, you will see beautiful white frost and misty pine trees.

   Dream House is a must-visit place for photography enthusiasts. This area is surrounded by thick snow and traditional wooden houses decorated with red lanterns. Every winter, snow falls on the eaves and roofs, forming various shapes of snow, some resembling mushrooms, clouds, and turtles. It looks particularly beautiful at night, so you are suggested to visit it the night before.

   After lunch, we will drive back to Harbin. The driving lasts around 5.5 hours and you can enjoy the urban snow scenery on the way. Finally, you will be dropped off at Harbin airport/train station for departure.
