- Day 1: Anxi to Quanzhou TourExperience Tea Culture of Anxi and Explore the Quanzhou Life
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Xiamen and drive to Anxi County, famous for its tea industry. It is the birthplace of Tieguanyin tea and has a history of tea production for thousands of years. Visit a tea farm and learn how to make Tieguanyin tea from a local tea farmer, exploring the fascinating tea culture. Also drink the fragrant tea while admiring the beautiful scenery of the tea fields.
Visit a tea farm in Anxi In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to Quanzhou City, once a major maritime Silk Road port. The rest of the day is free for you to visit the city. Stroll through the streets, enjoy the cityscape of Quanzhou, experience the local life and taste delicious local food, such as Quanzhou noodles, meat dumplings, and peanut soup.
In the evening, you will check in to your hotel in Quanzhou and have a good rest.

After breakfast, start the Quanzhou culture tour from Quanzhou Overseas Transportation History Museum. It is the first museum in China to reflect the history of ancient overseas transportation. There are five exhibitions with a lot of many sea traffic cultural relics, reproducing the ancient Chinese maritime culture. You will learn about the history and development of Quanzhou’s overseas trade and its connections with other regions.
Near this museum is the Kaiyuan Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in Fujian. Here admire the magnificent architecture and the exquisite construction techniques. Visit the Hall of Heavenly Kings, Main Hall, Ganluo Precept Altar and other Buddhist buildings. And see the Zhenguo Pagoda and Renshou Pagoda, which are the tallest buildings in the Kaiyuan Temple.
Kaiyuan Temple Then move to the Qingjing Mosque, the oldest Arab-style mosque in China. The mosque is a stone structure, with the main buildings including the gatehouse, the Hall of Worship and the Mingshan Hall. Immerse in the tranquil atmosphere and witness the integration of Islamic culture in the East.
In the afternoon, drive to explore the Xunpu Fishing Village, a historical fishing village in Quanzhou. You will see the distinctive houses and boats of the villagers, who are mainly engaged in oyster farming and fishing. One of the attractive features of the village is the hairstyles of the women. They put fresh flowers in their hair, a pattern of life that has been inherited for generations.
Xunpu Village After that, come to Luoyang Bridge, the oldest existing stone bridge across the sea. As night falls, you can watch the sunset here. The whole bridge is colored in gold and the river glitters. Stand on the bridge to enjoy the charming cityscape.

Luoyang Bridge - Day 3: Quanzhou Exploration Tour, DepartureDiscover Stone Caving Art and the Culture of Hui’an Women
This is the last day of the 3-day Quanzhou highlight tour. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Chongwu Ancient Town. It is an ancient coastal town built to resist invaders for over 600 years. Observe the Ming Dynasty stone city walls and the wonderful sea view beyond them. Also visit the traditional stone houses and experience the vivid local life inside the walls.
Chongwu Ancient Town On the south side of the old city wall is the Stone Carving Park. There are more than 500 pieces of stone carvings of different artistic styles, showing the diversity of Chinese stone carving art. See various stone sculptures of people, animals, and plants to learn about the folk and customs of Chongwu.
Finally move to Hui’an Dazha Fishing Village, a historic fishing village surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is famous for the culture of Hui’an women, who wear distinctive costumes and engage in fishing and stone carving. Explore the daily life and activities of the villagers to admire the spirit of Hui’an women.
