Highlights of this tour:
1. Take a 1.5 hours bamboo rafting along the Jiuqu Stream to appreciate beautiful peaks, rocks, and forests, and encounter local hanging coffins on the cliff.2. Head to Tianyou Peak which is an excellent viewing platform to enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding Danxia mountains and flowing rivers.
3. Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the lush mountains from the Tiger Roaring Rock and hear the wind roaring like a tiger while it is going through the cave on the rock
Visit the Da Hong Pao Scenic Area to see local tea plantations, meet the 340 years old tea trees, and Yongle Buddhist Temple.
Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Wuyi Mountain Arrival
Welcome to Wuyishan! Upon arrival, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the airport/train station, and drive about 0.5 hours to the hotel in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area.
The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the natural sightseeing of Mount Wuyi.

- Day 2: Wuyi MountainHeavenly Tour Peak (Tianyou Peak), Nine-bend Stream, Song Street
After breakfast, it’s time for you to indulge yourself in the essence of Wuyi Mountains.
You’ll first climb up the Heavenly Tour Peak (Tianyou Peak), where you can get to the observation deck to enjoy a stunning bird's-eye view of the red Danxia mountains and flowing rivers. If you are lucky, you’ll get a rare chance to see the sea of clouds turns the landscape into a fairyland.
Tianyou Peak This afternoon, 1.5 hours of bamboo raft riding will take you to float down along the Nine-bend Stream. During the sailing, you can sit back leisurely, treat your eyes with peaceful natural beauty, and encounter local hanging boat coffins on the cliff.
Nine-bend Stream After the bamboo rafting, make a visit to the Wuyi Palace, the most time-honored Taoist temple at Wuyi Mountain which can date back to Song Dynasty.
Next, stroll the nearby Song Street lined with many old-fashioned structures of Song Dynasty styles that are hidden among the lush mountain and water wonderland.
Song Street After the visit, be escorted back to your hotel at Wuyi Mountain. Have a good sleep!

Impression Da Hong Pao Show (19:20-20:40)
Directed by the famous director Zhang Yimou, the show is a large-scale live performance that perfectly combines the background of Wuyi Mountain and rivers. The show will introduce you to local interesting tea culture and offer you a charming night view of Mt. Wuyi.
Impression Da Hong Pao - Day 3: Wuyi Mountain & DepartureYixiantian Scenic Area, Tiger Roaring Rock, Dahongpao Scenic Area
Continue your Wuyi Mountain exploration today. After breakfast, experience passing the narrow path of the Yixiantian Scenic Area. It’s fun to challenge the narrowest part of the area which is only 30-40cm.
Yixiantian Scenic Area Then, walk to the Tiger Roaring Rock to be shocked by the sound when the wind goes through the cave and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
Visit the Dahongpao Scenic Area, leisurely stroll on the fields of the world-known Dahongpao tea, and admire the six-seed Dahongpao tea trees of over 340 years old.
Dahongpao Scenic Area Then hike to the Water Curtain Cave to appreciate the fancy waterfalls pouring from a height of over 100m.
After the tour, your guide and driver will escort you to the train station for departure high-speed train.
