This 3-day customized educational tour of Xi’an will take you a glimpse of the basic history of Xi’an by visiting the City Wall, Small Goose Pagoda, Xi’an Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square, Terracotta Warriors, Huaqing Hot Spring, Shuyuanmen Ancient Culture Street. One of the highlights of the tour is the Tang Dynasty Dance Show, which presents the dramatic historical story of Empress Wu Zetian from the age of 14 when she was chosen to enter the palace to the age of 67 when she ascended to the throne as empress.

Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Xian Arrival
Upon your arrival in Xian, your guide and driver will warmly welcome you at the airport and assist with your transfer to your hotel. Take some time to settle in and relax after your journey. If you're feeling adventurous, you can venture out to explore the nearby area, discovering local eateries and markets.

In the morning at 09:00, our guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby and start the tour. The first stop will be the Small Wilde Goose Pagoda, one of the existing landmarks of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Explore the rich cultural relics at Xi'an Museum, delving into the historical evolution of Xi'an. The museum boasts an extensive collection, providing a fascinating journey through time, complementing the iconic Small Wild Goose Pagoda experience.
Tri-coloured glazed pottery of the Tang Dynasty in Xian Museum After lunch, you will visit the ancient Xian City Wall, a formidable relic from the Ming Dynasty that envelops the heart of Xi'an. Spanning over 13.74 km, it is one of the most well-preserved city walls in the world. Ascend its ramparts for breathtaking panoramic views of the city and explore its watchtowers and gates. You can stroll or rent bicycles along the wall, immersing yourself in the historical charm of this ancient fortification. Going down from City Wall you will roam on the Shuyuanmen Ancient Street. The 570-meter-long ancient Chinese-style pedestrian street has over 100 bookstores and stationery stores.
In the evening, your guide and driver will escort you to attend the Tang Dynasty Show and Dumpling Dinner. Immerse yourself in the spectacular music and dance show, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Tang Dynasty. Indulge in a delicious dumpling dinner featuring a variety of fillings. The show ends at about 21:10. After the activities, our team will ensure a comfortable drive back to your hotel.

After breakfast, our local guide will transfer you to the Banpo Museum, an archaeological gem that takes you on a captivating journey back in time. This museum is a treasure trove of artifacts from the 6,000-year-old prehistoric Banpo village, offering a rare glimpse into the daily lives, rituals, and innovations of this ancient Neolithic community. Walk through the meticulously reconstructed dwellings and marvel at the artifacts that provide insights into their sophisticated pottery, tools, and burial practices. Banpo Village stands as one of the most completely preserved Neolithic agricultural settlements globally, making this visit an immersive experience in humanity's early history.
Banpo Museum After an enlightening morning, enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant. Relish the flavors of authentic Shaanxi cuisine, providing a perfect interlude for the adventures that lie ahead.
In the afternoon, we will head to admire the iconic Terracotta Warriors and Horses, aka the Eighth Wonder of the World discovered in 1974 by local farmers. You will witness the awe-inspiring army of life-sized terracotta soldiers, each meticulously crafted to guard the mausoleum of China's first Emperor, Qin Shi Huang. Marvel at the intricate details and historical significance of this archaeological wonder. Continue your exploration at the Huaqing Pool, the winter retreat of Emperor Xuanzong. Nestled at the foot of Mount Li, this historical site boasts not only thermal springs but also the stunning Lotus Flower Pool. Walk through the elegant halls and courtyards, surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque landscapes.
