- Day 2: Chimelong Safari Park TourHave a Great Family Time with Animals
After breakfast, begin the family tour of Guangzhou in Chimelong Safari Park. There are over 20,000 animals for you and your children to explore, including pandas, koalas and white tigers. Observe a variety of wildlife along the way by taking a mini train through areas, such as the Australian forests and the American jungles. There is also a special site for children to learn more about animals while playing games.
Embark on a thrilling safari on wheels After safari, walk to the Qinglong Mountain Zoo, located in this park. Here discover simulated dinosaurs, rainforest animals, and many species of snakes. So it is also a good place to give a novel experience for your children.
For an extra special experience, consider buying specialized food for your kids to interact with some animals, such as feeding giraffe with leaves. Today continue your Guangzhou family tour from the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. Here visit the Lingnan style architecture to explore the traditional Cantonese culture. Also your children will have a chance to experience some interesting activities. They can learn paper cutting or try to make Chinese knots under the guidance of teachers.
Chen Clan Ancestral Hall Then drive to Shamian Island, a famous historical and cultural district. Stroll around the beautiful street to admire European style architectures, such as Gothic and Baroque. Also, it is a good place to enjoy a peaceful time for your family. After the visit, your family will be arranged to taste delicious Cantonese lunch and dim sum.
Later move to the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees. Entering the temple, the 57-meter high Six Banyan Pagoda will be seen. As you walk along the road, you will marvel at three ancient banyan trees. Here learn about Buddhist culture and enjoy the wonderful nature with your family.
