You may not be familiar with the name Guangzhou, but I’m sure you’ve seen the name Canton before. They refer to the same city in Guangdong province. This 4-day Hong Kong tour covers two-day trip in Guangzhou.
Starting from Hong Kong, you will explore the bustling market (on your own), go up to the Victoria Peak to overlook the Hong Kong skyline, and take a boat to explore a small fishing village. Afterwards, take the high-speed train to Guangzhou (only 1 hour). The local tour guide will explain the rich history of the city to you by visiting the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King, and the Liurong Temple. You will also appreciate various styles of architecture at Huacheng Square and Shamian Island. A Cantonese lunch is included.

Welcome to our 4-day Hong Kong tour to Guangzhou! After arriving at the airport, a local driver has been waiting for you to pick you up. Then, he/she will escort you to a carefully selected hotel. The rest of the day is free for you.
You can visit the Temple Street Night Market on your own in the evening. You'll find many kinds of goods, from fashion accessories and electronics to antiques and Chinese craftworks. Don't forget to test your bargaining skills.

Temple Street Night Market - Day 2: Hong Kong Highlights TourTake a Tram Ride to See the Amazing Victoria Peak Views
After breakfast, meet your tour guide and driver at your hotel lobby and then they will guide you to Victoria Peak. The highest point in Hong Kong, it offers a panorama of the skyline and the harbour. You will be arranged to ride the Peak Tram to the top.
Peak Tram on Victoria Peak From there, our Hong Kong tour continues to Repulse Bay, located south of Victoria Peak, adjacent to the mountains and the sea. The bay is crescent shaped, known as the "Number One Bay in the World" and also known as the "Eastern Hawaii".
Next is the Aberdeen Fishing Village. You will experience a boat ride for about 20-30 minutes. And you can glimpse the daily lives of local fishermen.
Aberdeen Fishing Village The afternoon is free for you. Take a leisurely walk along the famous Avenue of Stars by yourself. It a waterfront promenade. From there, you can see the Victoria Harbour and the city skyline.
Also, you can visit Wong Tai Sin Temple. According to legend, the Wong Tai Sin enshrined in the temple is a "responsive" deity.

In the morning, you will be transferred to Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station to take a high-speed train for one hour to Guangzhou.
The first stop of Guangzhou tour is Yuexiu Park, a perfect place for strolling. Here, you will see the Five Goats Sculpture, the symbol of Guangzhou. Nearby, you can see the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. It has a majestic and magnificent appearance. Your private guide will tell you about the founding father of modern China, Dr. Sun's great contribution to the country.
Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Continue your historical Guangzhou tour to Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King. Discovered in 1983, it has a well-preserved chamber with a large collection of rare treasures. You will see China's earliest imperial seals, the world's earliest silk printing and dyeing tools, and more than 300 pieces of jade carvings and bronzes.
After that, take you to visit the largest square in Guangzhou - Huacheng Square. There are over 600 large and ancient trees. You can enjoy the landmark - Canton Tower and the modern cityscape. At the end of each year, it hosts the International Light Festival, which is one of the world's top three light festivals, along with those in France and Sydney. After the tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Guangzhou.

After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit Liurong Temple, aka Temple of the Six Banyan Trees. It has a history of nearly 1,500 years. A famous Chinese poet in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), Su Dongpo once visited the temple and saw six old banyan trees. He was pleased to inscribe the words "Six Banyan", which led to the later generations calling the place Liurong (Six Banyan) Temple.
Temple of the Six Banyan Trees Next, go to explore the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall for a deeper dive into Guangdong's cultural heritage. It is a well-preserved and representative folk building of the late Qing Dynasty (1616-1912). You will enjoy a large number of exquisite wood and stone sculptures here. Apart from that, the scenic spot also displays art exhibitions and photo exhibitions.
Afterwards, drive you to Shamian Island. This place features 19th-century European style architecture such as Baroque, Gothic, and Classical. Take a leisurely stroll along the tree-lined streets. Following that, you will enjoy a delectable Cantonese lunch.
