Arrive in Huangshan City on the first day. On the 2nd day visit the Hongcun Village and drive to Mt. Huangshan. Stay overnight on the mountain top and on the 4th day get down the mountain and continue the visit to Tangyue.

Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Huangshan Arrival
Upon your arrival at Huangshan airport / train station, a local private driver will greet you at the exit by holding the welcome board with your name. Then you will be escorted to the hotel and check in. Enjoy your free time for the rest of the day.

- Day 2: Huangshan Mountain TourAdmire Hui-style Building and Hike to See Pine Trees and Strange Rocks
At 08:00 in the morning, the guide and the driver will meet you in your hotel lobby and then you will be escorted to Hongcun Village. In the village, you will see many old buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). The must-see sites in the village are: South Lake, Chengzhi Hall, Lexu Hall, Shuren Hall, etc.
Hongcun Village After lunch, you will continue the visit to Mt. Huangshan, one of the top five famous mountains in China.
From the Yungu Cable Car station, follow your guide to take the cable car up to Beihai Scenic Area, where you can see many pine trees and strange rocks. After getting off the cable car, hike to Begin-to-Believe Peak to enjoy the sea of clouds, then walk to Dispelling Cloud Pavilion, where you will pass by the famous Black Tiger Pine. Upon arrival, overlook the beautiful scenery of the West Sea Grand Canyon. Continue walking deep into the canyon, admiring the towering rock peaks with thriving pine trees growing on them.
Passing through the first and second rings and returning usually takes about 3 hours. You can decide the hiking time according to your physical condition. If energy permits, you can spend about an hour admiring the sunset at Bright Summit (1840 meters/6102 feet) and visiting Flying-over Rock.
Note: From December to March, the West Sea Grand Canyon will be closed due to the heavy snow. We will adjust your itinerary if you are traveling during this period.

Yellow Mountain Hike - Day 3: Yellow Mountain Hiking TourEnjoy a Beautiful Sunrise View over Mount Huangshan
Get up at 6 o'clock and walk about 0.5km from Shilin (Lion Forest) Hotel to Refreshing Terrace to enjoy the spectacular sunrise of Mount Huangshan. Afterward, return to the hotel to enjoy breakfast.
Continue your Huangshan Mountain hike tour to the famous Monkey Watching the Sea, and Lion Peak (1690 meters/5544.6 feet). Next walk along the wooden path to Yungu Cable Car Station and take the cable car down the mountain. Your driver has been waiting for you at the foot of the mountain for a long time! Then return to your hotel in Huangshan City.

Sunrise over the Mount Huangshan - Day 4: Huangshan DepartureLearn about the Stories behind Memorial Stone Archways
In the morning board the car and drive to Shexian County (歙县) to visit the Tangyue Memorial Stone Archways. There are 7 archways in the county. Three were established in the Ming Dynasty and 4 were from the Qing Dynasty. Each of the archway bears the history of a family or a person. In the county, you will also pay a visit to Bao Garden which used to be the private garden of the successful local businessman Bao Qiyun in the Mid Qing Dynasty.
After the visit, you will be escorted to Huangshan airport or train station for departure. This is the end of your 4-day private Huangshan tour package.
