- Day 1: Shanghai Arrival
Upon your arrival at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, your private local driver will greet you at the exit of the Arrival Hall by holding a welcome sign. Then you will be escorted to your well-selected hotel to check in and rest.
The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the lively Shanghai nightlife. (no guide service)

After breakfast, meet your private tour guide in the hotel lobby, after which you will be led to visit the Shanghai Museum. Here you can see a large number of precious historical relics and artifacts, from bronzes and ceramics to paintings, calligraphy and sculptures. It is an important window into ancient Chinese civilization.
Exhibits in Shanghai Museum Afterward, transfer you to Yuyuan Garden, a classical garden with a history of more than 400 years. Inside the garden, the lakes and mountains reflect each other, and the pavilions are staggered, which is a typical garden style of the south of the Yangtze River. The Jiuqu Bridge and the Mid-lake Pavilion are especially famous and are good places for tourists to take photos.
Also, wander around the nearby Yuyuan Market. You can find traditional Chinese crafts like chopsticks, fans, pottery, and local delicacies.
Yuyuan Garden In the afternoon you will go to tick off Shanghai World Financial Center, a tall skyscraper in Pudong New Area. It boasts a total of 104 floors with Floor 94, 97, and 100 serving as sightseeing halls. You will have a chance to go up to have a marvelous panoramic view of the Huangpu River from the 55-meter-long transparent sightseeing corridor.
Next, walk along Nanjing Road. Known as the "First Commercial Street of China", it is one of the earliest and busiest commercial streets in Shanghai. Stroll and admire buildings that blend historical heritage with a modern atmosphere, and also taste traditional cuisine.

The Bund during the Day - Day 3: Shanghai to Zhujiajiao Water Town TourStep Back in Time at the Venice of Shanghai
Today continue your Shanghai tour to Zhujiajiao Water Town. Dubbed "the Venice of Shanghai", it has a history of more than 1,700 years.
Walking around the ancient water town, you will feel like traveling back to the Ming and Qing dynasties with elegant stone bridges across the rivers and plenty of old buildings around you. You can optionally have a relaxing gondola ride to truly experience the charm of the water town (at your own expense).
Zhujiajiao Water Town After that, our driver will escort you back to downtown Shanghai. Then you will have a wonderful Huangpu River Night Cruise to enjoy the spectacular scenery on the bank. Huangpu River separates Shanghai into two parts, Pudong and Puxi. Cruising on the river will give you an unparalleled view of the city's skyline.
