Welcome to Shanghai, the first bustling metropolis in China, for a short China tour! When you arrive at Shanghai airport, your private tour guide will hold a welcome sign with your name at the exit of the arrival hall and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, you will be escorted to take a walk on Nanjing Road to see the earliest and most bustling business street in Shanghai. Then, continue walking along the Bund, one of the best places to see the contrast between old Shanghai and modern Shanghai and also western and oriental buildings. In the evening, you will be escorted to see a Chinese in a theater. After that check in at the hotel.

The Bund - Day 2: Shanghai City TourExplore Shanghai's Past in a Garden and Skyline at Shanghai World Financial Center
You will meet your tour guide in your hotel lobby after breakfast. Today’s Shanghai tour starts with Yuyuan Garden, a famous classical garden originally built for Pan’s parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age. The nearby Yuyuan Market is a bustling marketplace set in an old Chinese neighborhood with traditional architecture and shops selling many local snacks and interesting souvenirs.
Yuyuan Garden After lunch, continue to visit the hundred-year-old Jade Buddha Temple. The temple was built to keep two jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen. Finally, conclude the one-day exciting Shanghai trip by the Shanghai World Financial Center, the second tallest skyscraper in the Chinese mainland. It’s a thrilling experience to have a bird-view of this magic city. You will be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.

In the early morning, you will meet your driver at your hotel lobby and then board the private car to Shanghai train station to catch the high-speed train to Xian. When you arrive at Xian North Train Station, please meet the Xian local guide at the “Passenger Service Center”.
In the afternoon, head to visit the Xian Ancient City Wall which is the most completely preserved and the largest city wall in China. It was built for the military defense in the Ming Dynasty, 1370 A.D. Since it is cycling the Xian city, visitors can ride a bike around the city wall which is optional (cost on your own). The last stop on today's Xian tour is the Muslim Quarter, the best-known food street in Xian. You will meet lots of local snacks and specialties. It would be a good chance to record the local food with your camera.
Finally, you will be transferred to the Xian local hotel to check in.

After hotel pick-up, you will be taken to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is known as “the Eighth Wonders of the World” with a surprisingly high level of sculpture. It is located 30 km east of Xi’an City and the original site was found by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974. Be guided to visit Pit 1, Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses for 2-2.5 hours. Your expert tour guide will share the hidden story of those life-sized clay warriors.
Terracotta Army in Xian After lunch, drive back to Xian city center to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda - the landmark of Xian city. It was originally built to hold Buddhist sutra and figurines of the Buddha that Xuanzang brought back from India in the Tang Dynasty, 652 A.D.
