Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Zhangjiajie

   Welcome to our four-day exciting Zhangjiajie tour with Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge! When you step on the land of Zhangjiajie, a local driver holding a sign with your name on it has been waiting at the exit for a long time, and he will be responsible for safely transporting you to the booked hotel. After a brief rest, you can freely explore this charming city in the remaining time.

   It is especially recommended that you visit Xibu Street, which is the most famous commercial street in Wulingyuan Scenic Spot, Zhangjiajie. You can fully enjoy the fun of shopping here, taste various delicacies, and feel the strong Tujia style. Don't forget to enjoy the beautiful night view of the stilted building complexes at night. It will add a unique color to your journey.

2. Day 2: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Forest Park Tour
   Explore Zhangjiajie's Stunning Scenery by Foot, Bridge, and Cable Car

   After enjoying breakfast, we will drive for 40 minutes and start your Zhangjiajie tour at Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. This area is known as the treasure trove of Zhangjiajie's landforms, integrating the magnificent scenery of mountains, rivers, and caves. Among them, Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge is undoubtedly a brilliant pearl of the Grand Canyon. It not only boasts the world's number one honor - the longest and tallest glass bridge, but also allows every tourist walking on it to fully appreciate the magnificent panoramic views of waterfalls, streams, and dense forests, with a length of 430 meters.

   

   Next, transfer to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Here, we will take a cable car to Huangshi Village, which is the grandest and most beautiful observation deck in this forest park. Standing between cliffs and cliffs, surrounded by green trees, the top of the village is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round.

   Next, we will head east and arrive at Jinbianxi (Golden Whip Stream) - a 7.5 kilometer long brook named after the Jinbian Rock it flows through. Strolling by the stream, you can enjoy the beautiful flowers and plants along the way, listen to the songs of birds, as if immersed in a flowing landscape painting, making people linger and forget to leave. The estimated visit time will take two and a half to three hours.

3. Day 3: Tianzi Mountain & Yuanjiajie Tour
   Discover Hallelujah Mountain, Unique Elevator, and Scenic Lake

   Today, your Zhangjiajie trip begins at Tianzi Mountain Scenic Spot. The sea of clouds, moonlight, sunrise and winter snow are the four major landscapes here. You will take a sightseeing bus up the mountain to explore the wonders of this scenic area - the clouds surrounded by strange rocky peaks like pillars, towers, as well as a huge rock wall over 20 kilometers long and up to a height of 1,000 meters. After the tour, you will take the cable car down the mountain.

   

   Next, transfer you to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park to visit Yuanjiajie, where you will experience the Bailong Elevator. It is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “highest outdoor elevator”. The elevator runs at a height of 326 meters and takes about 66 seconds to reach the top. Afterwards, you will see the “Hallelujah Mountain”, which was levitated in Avatar.

   Last, your guide will lead you to Baofeng Lake, which combines mountains and water with folk customs. It is especially famous for its marvelous flat lakes, flying waterfalls, as well as mysterious ancient temples deep in the mountains. You can experience a boat trip to appreciate the beauty of nature from different angles.

4. Day 4: Zhangjiajie Departure
   Ride the World's Longest Cable Car, Explore Thrilling Attractions

   Today is the last day of your 4-day escorted Zhangjiajie private tour package. In the morning, transfer you to Tianmen Mountain. You will take the longest cable car in the world to the top of the mountain. The one-way ride takes about 28 minutes. Once you reach the top, you will be guided to experience some exhilarating attractions such as the Glass Skywalk and the Ghost Valley Plank Road, both of which are suspended above the cliffs. You will also visit Tianmen Mountain Temple, surrounded by ancient trees and a tranquil environment.

   Finally, descend to Tianmen Cave, the world's highest natural cave through the mountain, seeming like a door to heaven. You can conquer the 999 steps and enjoy the wonderful scenery from above. After the visit, you will be taken by sightseeing bus down the mountain along the 99 Bend Road - a scenic ring road.

   

   Your tour guide and driver will escort you to catch your departure flight. This is the end of your Zhangjiajie private tour.

   Good to Know:

   Tianmen Cave and Ghost Valley Plank Road may be closed due to heavy snow or severely cold weather in winter. Your guide and consultant will adjust your itinerary accordingly.
