Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Xiamen Arrival
Welcome to join our 5 days Xiamen, Tulou & Quanzhou Tour. Upon arrival at Xiamen, your driver will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the time is at your leisure.

- Day 2: Gulangyu Island TourGulangyu Island, the Sea Heaven, Shuzhuang Garden, Octagonal Building
Today, you’ll enjoy your leisure time on Gulangyu Island. This UNESCO-listed island is also famous for its over one thousand historical buildings, including both former colonial consulates and ancient Chinese-style mansions.
Ancient buildings in Gulangyu Island After a 20 minutes ferry, you will set foot on the island and then enjoy your relaxing time. You will visit the largest old villa on the island - the Sea Heaven, where you can also enjoy classical music performances and traditional puppet shows.
Shuzhuang Garden will open up a surprising sea view in front of you as you walk through the lush plants, corridors, and rock formations. Walk to the most famous Sunlight Rock and capture the wonderful panorama of red and pink Western-style architecture with emerald trees.
Shuzhuang Garden Then come to the Octagonal Building, which is named after the octagonal rhombus on the exterior wall, the Wanguo Complex and the Yu Garden. At end of the visit, transfer you back to the hotel.

- Day 3: Xiamen - TulouTianluokeng Tulou complex, Taxia Village
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Xiamen downtown hotel and drive about 2.5 hours to Nanjing to visit the Tianluokeng Tulou complex.
Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster Tianloukeng is famous for its unparalleled panoramic view of earth buildings: one in the middle and four others clustered around it. You may have seen the classic Tulou publicity photos many times, but you will still be amazed when you stand on the rooftop observation deck and see the UFO-like Tulou buildings.
Among the many tulou buildings in Tianluokeng, Yuchanglou is the most famous one, which has survived over 700 years of rain, wind, and earthquakes. Different from most tulou buildings, the columns on the corridors of Yuchanglou are slanted.
Take a visit to Taxia Village to appreciate the picturesque countryside view and see the local’s busy life and work. Deyuantang (Zhang's Family Temple) with its grand structure and exquisite inside decoration is a highlight of Taxia Village, offering a glimpse into the ever glory of the local large family.

- Day 4: Xiamen - Quanzhou - XiamenKaiyuan Temple, East & West Pagoda, West Street and Zhongshan Road, Chongwu Ancient Town, Anping Bridge
This morning, drive around 1.5 hours to Quanzhou, one of the most famous historical and cultural cities in China. Upon arrival, make a visit to Kaiyuan Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in Fujian which can date back to 686 AD (in Tang Dynasty). It is a place where you can see stunning historical architecture and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful landscape. The East & West Pagoda is the top highlight here, which is a landmark of Quanzhou, and ranks the highest level of craftsmanship of Chinese stone pagodas.
East & West Pagoda Afterward, enjoy a leisurely wander around the bustling West Street and Zhongshan Road where you can enjoy elegant arcade buildings and local tasty snacks.
Then, visit Chongwu Ancient Town to see the intact stone city wall from the Ming Dynasty, and ancient villages teemed with granite-built houses.
Chongwu Ancient Town Move on to Wudianshi Traditional Block or "Five Shops District", an ancient block dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It attracts a large number of visitors from home and abroad thanks to its over 100 well-preserved ancient buildings.
Finally, we will visit Anping Bridge, which is about 2,255 meters long and is China's longest existing flat-beam sea-crossing stone bridge. The bridge is a junction for land transportation between Quanzhou and the vast coastal areas of southern China.
Return to Xiamen for the night after the visit.
