Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in GuilinEnjoy Wonderful Rice Terraces and Taste the Local Cuisine
When you arrive in Guilin, the local driver and guide will wait for you. Today we will start the Guilin tour in Longji Terraced Fields, which is a large terrace complex. The terraces are at least 2,300 years old and have been honored as a globally important agricultural cultural heritage. There are several ancient villages of ethnic minorities, so your children can learn about the culture of China’s ethnic minorities. Also, go hiking in the terraces, enjoy the beautiful scenery and take many beautiful photos with your family.
Longji Rice Terraces Then, we will have lunch in a local villager’s restaurant. Learn to prepare regional specialties, like bamboo tube rice. The bamboo tube rice has a long history and unique flavor. Rice and other food are put into a bamboo tube and roasted over a fire, and the rice will fully absorb the fresh aroma of the bamboo.

- Day 2: Guilin to Xingping TownExciting Cave Exploration and Interesting Family Activities
After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you on an exciting Guilin family tour to a wild cave. You will be guided by coaches in your explorations. Besides, you can play games with your kids, such as shadow games and the exhilarating ‘fast rope’ experience.
Cave Exploration Later, have lunch in a local village. Tonight, stay overnight in a camp near the Li River which has magnificent natural scenery and unique geography (depending on the weather). The campground has excellent facilities, so it is safe and reliable. While camping, you and your kids will enjoy the peaceful lake and the view of green mountains, or wait for a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Spend a fantastic time with your family here.

- Day 3: Village Experience and Li River SceneryXingping Town Nature and Culture Tour
After breakfast, take a boat to Xingping Town and start the Xingping Nature Tour. Located 25 kilometers northeast of Yangshuo, Xingping is the most beautiful ancient town along the Li River. During the boat trip, enjoy the stunning scenery composed of karst peaks and lovely villages.
As the ship moves forward, you will see the Nine Horses Fresco Hill, a large rocky mountain with nine peaks connected to each other. The rocks on this mountain are so colorful that they look like giant murals, so we call it ‘Fresco Hill’. And here, climb Xianggong Hill. The hill is not very high, and you can get to the top in about 20 minutes, but the view is very beautiful.
Xianggong Hill After lunch, transfer you to Yangshuo, which is located in the northeastern part of Guangxi. Upon arrival, you and your family can explore the homes of local farmers, participate in tofu-making, and pick fresh vegetables from villagers' gardens. In the evening, visit the streets of Yangshuo on your own, and enjoy the local food and culture.

Embark on a scenic bike ride through the picturesque countryside, passing by idyllic landscapes and traditional villages. Experience the serenity of bamboo rafting on the Yulong River, surrounded by lush greenery.
In the morning, continue your family tour in Yangshuo. Hop on a bike to visit the beautiful countryside and learn about the local culture. Then you will experience the bamboo rafting on the Yulong River, while enjoying the peaceful nature.
Yulong River Bamboo Rafting For adventurers, we arrange for some climbing activities on a natural cliff under professional guidance. Alternatively, you can create a unique landscape painting fan with your kids under the guidance of a local artist.

The 5-day Guilin family tour is over here. After breakfast, choose to visit local markets or rest in the hotel. Later, your driver will transfer you to the airport or train station according to your flight schedule.
