Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Zhangjiajie Arrival
   Challenge Walking on the World's Tallest Transparent Glass Bridge

   Welcome to our 5-day China nature trip to Zhangjiajie and Guilin! You are advised to book a flight that arrives before 1 pm this afternoon. The local tour guide and the driver will pick you up and take you directly to start your adventure in Zhangjiajie.

   There is about an hour's drive from the airport to the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area. The canyon is lush with vegetation, the air is fresh and cool, and the stream is filled with a layer of mist, just like a paradise.

   The most famous attraction here is the Glass Bridge. With a total length of 536 meters and a width of 6 meters, the transparent glass makes people feel as if they are strolling in the clouds, with the abyss under their feet and the magnificent canyon scenery in front of them. It will be an unforgettable experience. After the tour, we will transfer you to the hotel in Wulingyuan district to check in.

   

2. Day 2: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Tour
   See the Amazing "Floating" Mountains in the Movie Avatar

   After breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby, then drive to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park to start today's tour. As a 5A national scenic spot, this forest park boasts amazing natural scenery, with more than 3,000 strange peaks shaped like humans, animals, and objects.

   Today you will first be led to visit Tianzi Mountain, known as the "King of Peaks and Forests". Here are numerous strange peaks and rugged rocks, each one resembling a meticulously crafted work of nature. Stroll along the stone-paved road, the green trees on both sides provide shade, cool and comfortable. Walking on the suspension bridge, you can overlook the deep valley, which is thrilling and exciting.

   

   Afterwards, head to Yuanjiajie Scenic Spot, the setting of Hallelujah Mountain in the famous movie Avatar. It is backed by rocky peaks and mountains and faces the valley. The Bailong Elevator is a highlight. It is the highest outdoor elevator in the world, which takes only 66 seconds to send you to the top of the mountain. The elevator is fully transparent and has a wide view. When you reach the top, you can explore the Back Garden, the Vertigo Terrace and the First Bridge under the Heaven.

   Continue your visit to the 7.5-kilometer-long Golden Whip Stream, the most popular attraction in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Strolling along it, the air is fresh and you can see strange peaks and lush vegetation. This is a perfect place to get close to nature. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in the downtown area.

3. Day 3: Zhangjiajie to Guilin Tour by High-speed Train

   In the morning, our driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and transfer to the train station for your high-speed train to Guilin (train ride around 7 hours ).

   When you arrive at Guilin (North) Station, the Guilin driver will be waiting for you at the exit gate and transfer you to a local hotel for check-in.

   Friendly Tips: There is NO direct flight between Zhangjiajie and Guilin. Today, you will spend most of your time on the train, so you are advised to prepare some food/snacks before you depart from Zhangjiajie.

4. Day 4: Guilin to Yangshuo Tour by Cruise
   Enjoy a Relaxing Li River Cruise with Karst Landscape Along the Way

   Today is the highlight of our Guilin tour. In the morning, your private guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to the dock.

   Taking a Li River cruise to Yangshuo will be a visual feast. The cruise ship slowly moves forward, and the beautiful scenery on both sides unfolded like a painting scroll - with various shapes of strange mountains and rocks, clear river water, and vivid scenes of fishermen casting nets to catch fish. During the 4-hour journey, you can fully enjoy the gifts of nature.

   

   Friendly Tips: You are suggested to have a good breakfast at your hotel and take some snacks, as only a simple box lunch will be provided on the boat.

   After arriving in Yangshuo, take a walk on West Street, which is the busiest street in Yangshuo, nearly 800 meters long. There are many ancient relics preserved here, such as Ming dynasty city walls and stone inscriptions. On both sides of the street, you can see shops selling various handicrafts and authentic cuisine.

   Afterward, we will escort you to a hotel in Yangshuo to check in and rest.

   Optional evening activity (at your own expense): Impression Sanjie Liu performance, using the natural scenery of the Li River as the stage, combines with lighting, music, and dance, showing the customs of the Zhuang ethnic minorities.

5. Day 5: Guilin Departure
   Explore Guilin City Landmark and Cool Cave

   After breakfast, take all your belongings and check out of the hotel. Driving around 1.5 hours from Yangshuo to Guilin City, start your exploration with the amazing Reed Flute Cave, located in the northwest suburbs of Guilin. Inside the cave, stalagmites, stalactites, stone columns, flowers, and curtains come in various shapes, complemented by colorful lighting, like an artistic palace of nature.

   

   After that, move on to the Elephant Trunk Hill. The hill got its name after its shape, which resembles a giant elephant using its nose to absorb water. There is the Water Moon Cave between the elephant trunk and legs, and the river flows through it, creating an excellent scenery.

   After lunch, say goodbye to Guilin and you will be transferred to Guilin airport/train station for your departure. This is the end of your 5-day private guided China tour to Zhangjiajie and Guilin.
