Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Zhangjiajie

   Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Upon your arrival at Zhangjiajie Airport, the local driver will greet you at the exit of the arrival hall by holding a name sign and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is for your own arrangement. You can freely explore the city by yourself. If you need any suggestions in your free time, we will be very happy to help you.

2. Day 2: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Tour
   Marvel at Rocky Peaks of Various Shapes and Forms, Hike along Golden Whip Stream

   Your trip to Zhangjiajie officially begins today! The first stop today is Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The park covers an area of 130 square kilometers and is China's first national forest park. It is characterized by rocky peaks of various shapes and forms, high up in the sky, and lush trees.

   First, we will visit Yellow Stone Village, the most famous scenic spot in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, with an altitude of more than 1,000 meters. You will take a cable car up to the top to see the vastness of the peaks. If you are lucky, you will see the spectacular sea of clouds.

   

   Afterwards, move your feet to Zhangjiajie's golden tourist area, Golden Whip Stream. The 7.5-kilometer-long stream winds its way through the peaks and valleys, and the 2-hour leisurely hike is long enough for you to enjoy the strange peaks on both sides of the river, the frolicking birds and animals, and the ancient and exotic trees.

   The last stop of today's tour is Baofeng Lake Scenic Area. This is a lake-type natural scenic area that combines natural landscape with humanities and folklore. A boat ride is the best way to visit this lake. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel for rest.

3. Day 3: Tianzi Mountain & Yuanjiajie Tour
   Explore Yuanjiajie's Hallelujah Mountain & Wander in Ten Mile Gallery

   After breakfast, meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby. They will take you to Tianzi Mountain, one of the four scenic spots in Wulingyuan. This scenic spot covers a total area of more than 5,400 hectares and its highest point, Tianzi Peak, is 4,142 feet (1,262.5 meters) above sea level. Take a sightseeing bus up to the mountain where you will enjoy a spectacular view of the strange peaks. He Long Park and Yu Bi Peak are the highlights of this scenic area. After the visit, take the cable car down the mountain.

   

   Next, transfer you to Yuanjiajie, located in the north of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is backed by rocky peaks and mountains, facing the valley peaks. The main attractions include the Mi Hun Tai (Enchanting Platform), the No.1 Bridge under Heaven, and Bailong Elevator. You will have a chance to experience the world's highest elevator with a vertical height difference of 335 meters. The scenic spot is where the movie Avatar Hallelujah Mountain was filmed.

   Finally, head to Ten Mile Gallery, which is the essence of Suoxiyu Nature Reserve. This five-kilometer-long walking path will treat you with a rich natural landscape and you will feel like you are wandering in a fairyland. Mini-train is optional and at additional cost. At the end of the tour, your guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel for a good rest.

4. Day 4: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Tianmen Mountain Tour
   Experience a Thrilling Adventure on the World's Highest Glass Bridge

   Your Zhangjiajie tour today begins at the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, a natural scenic spot with lush vegetation and cool, fresh air. Here you will challenge yourself to walk on the world's highest and longest glass bridge - Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge. The arch of the bridge is about 400 meters relative height from the bottom of the valley and the total length is about 370 meters. The bridge surface is all paved with transparent glass, and there is the world's highest bungee jump in the center of the bridge. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

   

   After lunch, head to Tianmen Mountain, characterized by typical karst mountainous terrain. You will be arranged to take a cable way up the mountain. With a total length of 7,455 meters and a height difference of 1,279 meters, the ropeway is the longest alpine passenger ropeway in the world. Upon arrival at the mountain, some highlights await you, such as the Sky Walk on the cliff, and the Tianmen Mountain Temple. After that, take the escalator through the mountain down to Tianmen Cave. With a height of 131.5 meters and a width of 57 meters, this cave is a rare high-altitude natural cave through the mountain in the world. After the visit, you will be escorted to your downtown hotel for rest.

   Good to Know:

   Tianmen Mountain is very close to downtown Zhangjiajie, so we put it on the last day for easy access to the airport or train station.

5. Day 5: Departure from Zhangjiajie

   It's your last day in this amazing place. Please prepare your belongings in advance. The driver will meet you at the appointed time and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight (usually 4 hours in advance for international flights and 3 hours for domestic flights). Our service will end here. Wish you a pleasant journey!
