Then, embark on a thrilling journey, trekking through the Lachu valley and river, over the Droma La Pass, and worshiping the holy Lake Manasarovar.

Day 1: Lhasa Arrival

You are warmly welcomed in Lhasa upon your arrival. Your private driver and guide will escort you to the downtown hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours at leisure (Don't miss visiting Potala Palace and Barkhor Street.)

Day 2: Lhasa - Ali - Darchen
Prepare for tomorrow's hiking

After breakfast in the morning, drive one hour to the airport for your flight to Ali. You will arrive at Ali around noon. Then local driver and guide will meet and transfer you to Darchen for a 3-hour ride. Check into the well-selected hotel. For the rest of the day, you're free to acclimate to the high altitude and Get ready for tomorrow's hike.

You can hire a porter or a yak to carry your personal belongings for an extra fee if you need it.

Day 3: Darchen - Dirapuk Monastery
Lachu Valley, Sacred Stupas, Drirapuk Monastery

Drive 7 km (4.3 miles) to the Prayer Flags Square, the starting point of your Mount Kailash pilgrimage tour. You’ll walk around Mount Kailash in a clockwise direction and try to find your own pace.

Hike 13 km (8 miles) along the Lachu Valley and river, admiring a lot of sacred stupas with white bases and golden spires, and finally reach the Drirapuk Monastery (5,080m). En route, take some rest in a tea house where you could recharge yourself.

Day 4: Dirapuk Monastery - Dzutrpuk
Droma La Pass, Dzutrpuk Temple

Our second-day trek from the Dirapuk Monastery to Dzutrpuk is the most challenging of the Mount Kailash Pilgrimage Tour. You will hike 8 km (5 miles) over the highest pass of Kora - Droma La Pass (5,648m).

After taking a rest at the peak of Dolma La pass, walk 6 km (3.7 miles) down to the pick-up point where you can get some hot water and refresher snacks. After that, continue trekking 1 0km (6.2 miles) to reach Dzutrpuk Temple with a shelter on the way.

Day 5: Dzutrpuk - Darchen - Ali
Mani Stones, Lake Manasarovar

Today's journey will be an easier hike from Dzutrpuk Temple down to the mountains. During this 6-km hike (3.7 miles), you could see piles of Mani stones engraved with exquisite Tibetan characters and patterns. After arrival, drive 4 km (2.5 miles) to Darchen, one the way you can stop to appreciate Lake Manasarovar and enjoy steam-filled wild hot springs. From Darchen, the driver and the guide will escort you to Ali for the night.

Day 6: Ali - Lhasa Departure
After enjoying breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Ali airport for a flight to Lhasa. Then Departure from Lhasa on your own.
