Want to fully experience the minority culture of Guizhou? This 6-day Guizhou tour will take you to explore Guizhou’s representative ethnic minority villages, learn about their unique culture and experience interesting activities such as paper-making and batik.
In addition, the tour includes the stunning Karst scenery – immersing yourself in the rustic and elegant karst waterscape of Xiaoqikong (Seven Small Arches) and witnessing the magnificent Huangguoshu Waterfall up close. This is a rare opportunity to experience the diverse Guizhou savor!

- Day 1: Guiyang ArrivalFree Time
Welcome to our 6 days Guiyang tour with Qianhu Miao Village! Please make your own way to Guiyang Airport. Upon arrival, your private driver will pick you up from the exit gate. And then you will be transferred to your hotel.

- Day 2: Guiyang - LiboQingyan Ancient Town
After breakfast, head to Qingyan Ancient Town, one of the four ancient towns in Guizhou, which is famous for its long history and strong cultural atmosphere.
Qingyan Ancient Town The streets and residential houses in Qingyan Ancient Town are built of stone, including the walls and courtyards. Walking inside the Inner Town, visitors are sure to marvel at the elegant ancient architecture here, which includes more than 30 types of monasteries, temples, courtyards, and palaces. If you like, stop by these tea houses for some of the famous local snacks (at your own expense).
In the afternoon, we will drive to Libo for the night.

- Day 3: Libo - KailiSeven Small Arches, Gaoyao Terraces, Shiqiao Miao Village
In the morning, your driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and drive you to the Seven Small Arches. Located among karst peaks, the scenic spot is named after a bluestone bridge with seven arches across the Xiangshui River.
The Seven Small Arches is a combination of mountains, water, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls. It looks beautiful and quiet, with strong customs of the Tujia and Yao ethnic groups.
Entering through the east gate, take a battery car (included) to visit various scenic spots in the area, such as the 68-level Waterfall, the Water Forest (a good place to take shots of the stunning scenery), Wolong Lake (a fairyland resembling Jiuzhaigou Valley), and Yuanyang Lake (two towering trees side by side in the lake).
Wolong Lake of Seven Small Arches After lunch, drive to the Gaoyao Terraces, which cascade from the top to the bottom of the mountain, reclaimed by the Miao ethnic group. The terraces are like a beautiful belt, decorated with mighty mountains. Then head to Shiqiao Miao Village, the Hometown of Ancient Chinese Papermaking, where you will have an interesting paper-making experience and a glimpse of the local ethnic culture.
After that, head to Kaili for the night.

- Day 4: Kaili - Xijiang TownMatang Gejia Village, Qianhu Miao Village
Matang Gejia Village is the first stop on today's tour. The village is home to more than 400 people who call themselves Gejia. Here, visitors can enjoy Gejia's unique Lusheng dance, love songs, and other wonderful performances.
Gejia batik has a long history. These simple batiks, with unique patterns, are mostly wild animals, flowers, birds, insects, and fish, fully reflecting Gejia's boundless love for nature. You will try the unique batik under the guidance of local masters. After that, you will be transferred to Qianhu Miao Village, the largest Miao village in China.
A craftsman is making batik It is a picturesque place surrounded by green rice fields. Here visitors can fully experience the original Miao culture, including Miao songs and dances, language, architecture, art, silverware, clothing, and food, and enjoy the beautiful night view of the Xijiang River.

Qianhu Miao Village Night View - Day 5: Xijiang - AnshunTianlong Tunpu
In the morning, drive for 3.5 hours to visit Tianlong Tunpu in Anshun.
Located in Pingba County, western Guizhou Province, the ancient town lies deep in the karst mountains.
Tianlong Tunpu Walk for half an hour in a typical karst idyllic landscape; Climb Tiantai Mountain, overlooking the wide land; Enjoy the historic slate houses and old dwellings...

- Day 6: Anshun - Guiyang DepartureHuangguoshu Waterfall
Today's highlight is the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Spot, which includes three scenic spots: Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot, and Doupotang Waterfall. Tourists usually follow the tour route of Doupotang Waterfall - Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot - Huangguoshu Waterfall.
Doupotang Waterfall is the widest waterfall in the waterfall group, looking quite spectacular. With any luck, visitors can catch a beautiful rainbow. The stone, water, trees, and caves of the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot are harmoniously integrated, which is amazing.
Doupotang Waterfall Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in the waterfall group, surrounded by peaks, dense vegetation, gorges, caves, and stone pillars. There are six viewing platforms, allowing visitors to appreciate the waterfall from above, below, front, back, left, and right. Put on a raincoat and walk into the Waterfall Cave to get up close and personal with the waterfall, which is something else.
