7 Days Beijing Xian Guilin Package Tour

Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Beijing Arrival
   Visit the Scenic Mutianyu Great Wall with Optional Cable Car

   Get picked up by a local private English-speaking tour guide from your hotel at about 8:30 am. The China tour in Beijing begins at the famous Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. If you want to reach the highest point, cable car is a good choice (optional); shuttle bus is also optional for you to save energy and time.

   In the afternoon, go to visit the Temple of Heaven - the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. After the visit, transfer you back to the hotel around 6:00 pm.

2. Day 2: Beijing City Tour
   Explore the Largest Imperial Palace and See Pandas at the Zoo

   In the morning, our guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby and lead you to start today’s Beijing city tour. The first stop is Tian’anmen Square, the largest city square in the world. From there, walk for 5 minutes north to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years of history in the world. There are various routes to visit the Forbidden City. Your tour guide will select the best visiting route for you based on the day's itinerary, and you will learn some basic facts, including when it was built, why it was built, and how many rooms it has.

   In the afternoon, head to the Panda House in Beijing Zoo. You will see those lovely creatures here. Today’s last stop is the Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. If you would like to experience the boat ride, please just pay for it on the spot. After all the visits, be escorted back to the hotel for rest.

3. Day 3: Beijing to Xian Tour by High-speed Train

   At about 08:30 in the morning, the driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and then escort you to the train station for the bullet train to Xi'an. (suggested: G55/09:55-14:05).

   Upon your arrival, our Xian local driver will hold a board with your name on it and then transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

4. Day 4: Xian Highlights Tour
   Marvel at the Renowned Archaeological Site and a Historic Pagoda

   In the morning, meet your tour guide and start your Xian tour with a visit to the famous Terracotta Warriors. Known as “ the Eighth Wonder of the world” and one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, the museum shows a surprisingly high level of sculpture. The splendid battle formation will leave you with an impressive memory.

   In the afternoon, drive back to Xian downtown area to admire the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a sacred place for worshiping Buddha. The pagoda was originally built to preserve sutras and figures of Buddha that Xuanzang brought back to China from India in the Tang Dynasty. Now there is a big garden around Big Wild Goose Pagoda where people can have a nice walk. After the tour, go back to your hotel.

5. Day 5: Xian to Guilin Tour by Flight
   Explore a Mosque to Learn about Local Culture, and Enjoy Local Snacks

   After breakfast, today’s China tour package in Xian takes you to the famous Ancient City Wall, which functioned as military defense in ancient times. It’s the best-preserved city wall in China (Optional: most of the tourists choose to ride a bike on the wall). Next, come to visit the Great Mosque where you will learn about local Muslim culture.

   Then continue to explore the interesting Bell & Drum Tower Square & Muslim Quarter to find authentic local snacks and handicrafts. After all visits, transfer you to the airport for your flights to Guilin. Our Guilin driver will wait for you at the airport by holding a sign, then you will be escorted to the hotel to check in.

6. Day 6: Guilin to Yangshuo Tour
   Enjoy a Scenic River Cruise with the Stunning Karst Landscapes

   Today is the highlight of your Guilin tour when embarking on a ship to cruise down the picturesque Li River!

   Taking the cruise on the Li River, you will admire the picturesque scenery of this land with a harmonious combination of green hills, rivers, lakes, and fields. Our guide will uncover the hidden history and culture behind the natural screen during your cruise. Learn from the local expert about how the city formed and developed and how local people manage their lives along the famous Li River.

   

   Friendly Tips:

   • The Li River Cruise takes around 4 hours.
   • The boat is 3-star included.
   • You are suggested to have a good breakfast at your hotel and take some snacks as there will be only a simple box lunch provided on the boat.

   After the cruise, you will disembark at Yangshuo. Follow your guide to explore the famous West Street to admire the antique buildings and local crafts, hang out in bars and coffee shops, and try some delicious local snacks.

   Last, transfer to Yangshuo local hotel for an overnight stay.

7. Day 7: Yangshuo Back to Guilin Tour, Departure
   Take a Guilin City Tour of Landmarks and a Scenic Park

   After hotel pickup at around 08:30 in the morning, we will drive back to Guilin for city sightseeing! The first stop will be Elephant Trunk Hill. The hill, located at the joint point of Peach River and Li River, is the symbol of Guilin City. Afterwards, head to Fubo Hill which towers in the river. Climbing up to the hilltop, you will have an overlook of Guilin City.

   Then, continue the Guilin tour to Reed Flute Cave, one of the top famous Karst Caves in China. The last top will be Seven Star Park, the best park in Guilin where you will appreciate great work including hills, rivers, courtyards, architecture, and cultural relics.

   Finally, be dropped off at the airport or train station for your departure flight or train. Your 7-day Beijing Xian Guilin tour ends here!
