This 7-day Guizhou in-depth tour gives you all about minorities and the countryside. Most of the minority villages in Guizhou are located in the mountains and by the rivers. For those who have a soul to be free, it is time to slow down your steps to experience different lifestyles and cultures. This journey will take you to experience catching fish, batik, silver making, and cooking farm-fresh food. In addition, you will be guided to enjoy Guizhou’s stunning natural scenery including Huangguoshu Waterfall and Seven Small Arches.

Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Guiyang Arrival
Welcome to Guiyang! Today the guide and the driver will pick you up from the Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport and then transfer you to check in the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

- Day 2: Guiyang - HuangguoshuHuangguoshu Waterfalls Scenic Area
After breakfast, we will depart for Huangguoshu Waterfalls Scenic Area, which includes three scenic spots: Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot, and Doupotang Waterfall. Tourists usually follow the tour route of Doupotang Waterfall - Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot - Huangguoshu Waterfall.
Doupotang Waterfall is the widest waterfall in the waterfall group, looking very spectacular. With a bit of luck, visitors can see a beautiful rainbow. The stone, water, trees, and caves of the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot are harmoniously integrated, which is amazing.
Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in the waterfall group, surrounded by peaks, dense vegetation, gorges, caves, and stone pillars. There are 6 viewing platforms, allowing visitors to appreciate the waterfall from the front, back, above, below, left, and right. Put on a raincoat and walk into the Waterfall Cave to get up close and personal with the waterfall, which is something else.

Huangguoshu Waterfall - Day 3: Guiyang - LiboQingyan Ancient Town
After breakfast, we will tour the Qingyan Ancient Town, one of the four ancient towns in Guizhou built of stone. The town is surrounded by walls and divided into two cities, the inner and outer. Inside the city, visitors can admire many ancient buildings in Ming and Qing styles, well-designed temples, and pavilions. If you like, stop by a tea house for some of the famous local snacks (at your own expense).
In the afternoon, depart for Libo County situated 150 km southeast of Qingyan Ancient Town.

In the morning, go to explore the Seven Small Arches Scenic Area. It is one of the most enchanting landscapes of Karst topography.
The Seven Small Arches is a combination of mountains, water, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls. It looks beautiful and quiet, with strong customs of the Tujia and Yao ethnic groups. Entering through the east gate, take a battery car to visit various scenic spots in the area, including the 68-level Waterfall, the Water Forest - a good place to take shots of the stunning scenery, Wolong Lake - a fairyland resembling Jiuzhaigou Valley, and the Yuanyang Lake - two towering trees side by side in the lake.
Ancient Bridge in Seven Small Arches Next, we will drive for 2.5 hours to Kaili City and tour the Kaili Ethnographic Museum. There you will see traditional costumes, architecture, and daily utensils of the Miao and Dong people.

- Day 5: Kaili - Kongbai VillageMatang Gejia Village, Kongbai Miao Village
After breakfast in your hotel, drive to visit Matang Village, where more than 400 people live, and call themselves "Gejia", an ethnic minority to be recognized. The Gejia are an industrious and primitive tribe who can sing and dance, and specializes in batik, weaving, and embroidery. You will learn to experience the batik craft with a master.
A local craftsman works on a batik process In the afternoon, drive to Kongbai Miao Village in 1.5 hours, also known as "The Last Silversmith Miao Village". The silver-work industry there has lasted for hundreds of years, and almost every family there has mastered silver-work skills. We will visit a local silver workshop, witness the processing of making silver-work and learn to make an exquisite piece of silver jewelry.

Experience silver making - Day 6: Kaili TourLangde Miao Village
Today drive 1.5 hours to Langde Miao Village, famous for Miao embroidery culture. Upon arrival, we will experience the welcome ceremony, appreciate a traditional music and dance performance, pay a visit to a farmer's house and sample an authentic home-cooked lunch.
In the afternoon, we will go with the host to catch fish, pick wild vegetables and cook for the long-table banquet. Enjoy your time chatting and drinking with locals. Then drive back to Kaili City for the night.
