- Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Ni Hao (Hello)! Welcome to our 8-day China tour to Chengde and Tianjin! You will start your China tour in the country capital - Beijing. After arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport, a local driver will pick you up at the exit of the Arrival Hall and then transfer you to the hotel in city center. He will assist you in moving your heavy luggage and help you with check-in if you need. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.

- Day 2: Beijing Highlights TourExplore City Landmarks and Learn Chinese History
After breakfast, you will be guided to some city highlights of today's Beijing tour. Go to visit the Tiananmen Square first, located in the center of Beijing. The square covers an area of 440,000 square meters and can accommodate one million people at the same time. You will see the National Flag Pole, the Monument to the People's Heroes, Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall and the Zhengyangmen Gate along the central axis from north to south.
Continue walking a short distance to the Forbidden City. Aka the "Palace Museum", it used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911) and is the essence of ancient Chinese palace architecture. You will learn some basic facts from your well-informed tour guide, such as when it was built, why it was built, and how many rooms it has. Next, hike up to Jingshan Park to enjoy the panoramic views of the Forbidden City and Beijing's skyline.

Later, after the river was transformed into a street, willow trees were planted here and named Liuyin Street. In addition, you can take the option of a boat ride to enjoy the beautiful Kunming Lake (at additional cost, optional).
Summer Palace In the afternoon, head to Shougang Park, located on the banks of Yongding River in Shijingshan District, Beijing, with a construction area of 70 hectares. The park is a characteristic park with an industrial theme, nestled by mountains and waters. You will see some industrial relics including cooling towers, gas tanks, coke ovens, railway dedicated lines, and specialized transport vehicles... After that, take a break at Starbucks and taste coffee.

- Day 4: Beijing Day TourEnjoy Beautiful Night Views of Simatai Great Wall
Today, your China tour in Beijing takes you to the Temple of Heaven. It is a special altar used by the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to the heavens, asking for rain and praying for a good year. There are two parts: the Inner Altar and the Outer Altar. We will mainly visit the Inner Altar today, including The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest and the Echo Wall.
Next, drive northeast for about 2.5 hours to reach Gubei Water Town. This is a scenic area that has been renovated and rebuilt on the basis of an ancient village. Built along the water, it is a perfect leisure and vacation destination. You can soak in hot springs, taste delicious food, and appreciate exquisite ancient residential buildings here.
Gubei Water Town The night view of Gubei Water Town is truly stunning. In the evening, the lights of the small town and the Simatai Great Wall light up, turning the town into a dreamlike world. Walk along the walls of the Simatai Great Wall, which would be once-in-a-life experience.

- Day 5: Beijing to Chengde TourDiscover a Vast Royal Garden with Rich History and Significance
After breakfast, drive for about 1.5 hours to explore the Summer Resort in Chengde. This is a summer palace built by the Qing Dynasty emperors for the political purpose of uniting ethnic minorities in the border areas and consolidating national unity. Founded in 1703, it underwent three dynasties and took 89 years to complete in 1792. Covering an area of 5.64 million square meters, it is the world's largest surviving royal garden.
Chengde Mountain Resort You will see magnificent palaces, beautiful gardens, and peaceful lakes. The tour guide will give you free time to explore here. After the tour, we go to Chengde city to visit Wanshu Garden. The ground here is covered in green carpet, with herds of elk and frequent sightings of pheasants and hares.
After lunch, you will be transferred to Jinshanling Great Wall. Ascend the wall via a cable car and the hike to enjoy the undulating mountains, ancient enemy towers, and relics of the Great Wall. After the Great Wall hiking tour, drive you back to Gubei Water Town for an overnight stay.

- Day 6: Beijing Urban ExplorationExplore a Vibrant Shopping Street and Enjoy a Nostalgic 1980s Experience
In the morning, the China tour takes you back to Beijing downtown and stroll around Wangfujing Street. A total length of 1818 meters, it is a commercial street with a history of hundreds of years and is known as the "Golden Street" in Beijing. It is a shopper's paradise offering everything from high-end stores to local boutiques.
Next, embark on a nostalgic journey to the 1980s at Heping Guoju. It is located on the second basement level of the Wangfujing Department Store, covering an area of approximately 2400 square meters. You can find many old objects here, such as monochrome televisions, sewing machines, kerosene lamps, radios, and spittoons.
Heping Guoju Then, enjoy free time at Xiushui Street, which is a bustling market where you can pick up some items from clothing to souvenirs.

- Day 7: Beijing to Tianjin TourTaste Local Delicacies and Explore European Architecture
Today your tour in China will extend to Tianjin, a coastal city only half an hour away from Beijing by high-speed rail. After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up and accompany you on the bullet train to Tianjin.
After arrival, go to Tianjin Food Street to satisfy your taste buds. Tianjin has a large number of snacks and specialties, especially the "three wonders of Tianjin", including Goubuli Steamed Bun, Fried Dough Twists, and Fried Cakes. In addition, what must be tried is Jianbing Guozi, which is composed of pancakes, eggs, and crisp fritters, paired with sauce, minced scallions, and chili sauce (optional) as seasonings.
Italian Style Street Afterwards, explore the European style architecture of Italian Style Street. You will also enjoy the Tianjin Haihe River by car, with modern skyscrapers and historical landmarks lining the way. After the Tianjin day tour, return to Beijing.
