  1. Welcome to our China tour from Hong Kong of 8 days! Upon your arrival, a local driver will pick you up and transfer you to your well-selected hotel. The rest of the day is left for you.

    If you're interested, take a 10-minute ferry ride between Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. You will enjoy the spectacular skyline

  2. Start your escorted Hong Kong tour at the Victoria Peak, one of Hong Kong's premier tourist destinations, located at the highest point of the city. Its name comes from the Queen Victoria. You will take the Peak Tram to the observation deck at an altitude of 428 meters, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Hong Kong skyline.

    Next, move to Eastern Hawaii - the Repulse Bay. Located south of Victoria Peak on Hong Kong Island, this is a great place to relax, with flat waves, fine sand, and warm seawater. There are many restaurants, fast food chains, and supermarkets around the beach. The tea house by the sea is a great place to enjoy the sunset. June to August is the busiest time and the best season for sightseeing in Repulse Bay.

    In the afternoon, go to visit Stanley Market. You can find handicrafts and artistic works including Chinese calligraphy art, paintings, silk products, and handmade jewelry. After exploring the market, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

  3. After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will take you on a tour to the largest island in Hong Kong, Lantau Island. It is nearly twice the size of Hong Kong Island.

    Drive around 1 hour to Tung Chung. Then you will be guided to take the Ngong Ping 360 cable car for 25 minutes to Ngong Ping. This ride is not just a unique way of transportation, but also one of the world's top 10 cable car experiences. On this ride, you will have the best view of Lantau Island, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Big Buddha, and the ocean below.

    Upon arrival at Ngong Ping Village, pay a visit to Po Lin Monastery. It is a century-old ancient temple known as the Buddhist Kingdom in the Southern Heaven. It has been a popular place for religious practice among locals and visitors for many years. You'll see halls, shrines, gardens, and a scripture library with Chinese architecture and enjoy the Buddhist vegetarian dishes served here.

    Then, go to admire the greatest landmarks of Ngong Ping - Tian Tan Giant Buddha. It is the world's tallest and second largest outdoor seated bronze Buddha, with a height of 34 meters (112 feet). It sits on Muyu Peak of Lantau Mountain. You can hike 268 steps up to the base of the statue and get an amazing view of Lantau Island.

    If you are still up for a walk, take a 20-minute stroll to Wisdom Path. It's a large outdoor group of 38 wooden steles with calligraphy of verses from the Heart Sutra, arranged in the shape of the infinity symbol.

    After the visit, you will be transferred back to Tung Chung, and you'll take a drive back to Hong Kong International Airport. Take a flight to Xi'an and the local driver will meet you.

  4. Your China tour in Xian starts after meeting your tour guide. He / She will take you to visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors in Lintong District. Known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, it has been visited by over 200 foreign heads of state and government. It has become a traveling card of China's ancient glorious civilization. Today, your Xi'an tour guide will take you to visit three pits inside, where there are life sized soldiers, as well as numerous chariots and horses. It was discovered by a local farmer in 1974 and included in the The World Heritage List in 1987.

    After a Chinese-style lunch, we will drive back to the downtown area. Your Xian tour continues to the Ancient City Wall. It is the largest and most well preserved ancient city wall in China, 12 meters high and 12-14 meters wide at the top. It is a closed rectangle with a circumference of 13.74 kilometers. On the city wall, you can choose to ride a bicycle at your own expense and enjoy the scenery inside and outside the city wall.

    Next, stroll around Muslim Street, a food street where you can not find almost all the snacks in Xian, including kebabs, steamed buns, Mutton and Bread Pieces in Soup, but also admire many exotic buildings in Islamic style. You will be guided to visit the Great Mosque, one of the two oldest mosques in Xian. The architecture was in traditional Chinese style, combined with Islamic style, with the roofs titled with glazed tiles, and most of the tiles are black.

    In the evening, you can pay extra to watch the wonderful Tang Palace Dance and Music Show, which showcases the life of Tang emperors through graceful Tang costume dances. Before the performance, you can enjoy a hearty dumpling dinner if the package includes.

  5. Today is the last day of Xian tour. After breakfast, we head to a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, built to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty (618-907).

    Afterwards, you will immerse in the rich history at the Xi'an Museum. Covering an area of 160,000 square meters, Xi'an Museum consists of three parts: the museum, Jianfu Temple, and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. The museum has a collection of 130,000 cultural relics from various historical periods in Xi'an, including some unearthed from influential dynasties in Chinese history such as the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang. The Tangsancai Horse (唐三彩腾空马) from the Tang Dynasty, unearthed in 1966, is the treasure of this museum.

    In the afternoon, you will take a high-speed train from Xi'an to Beijing, the capital of China. The train journey takes approximately 5 hours, during which you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be transferred to your hotel.

  6. After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a visit to Tiananmen Square. Located in the city center, the square is one of the largest city squares in the world. It is a sacred site for major celebrations, grand gatherings, and foreign affairs receptions in China.

    Walk a short distance north to the Forbidden City, a royal palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China, located at the center of Beijing's central axis. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1987. There are nearly 9,000 rooms, and your guide will take you to visit some important sites and tell you stories about what happened here.

    After a delicious Chinese lunch, head to the Qing Dynasty royal garden - the Summer Palace.

    Located in the western suburbs of Beijing, it is the most well preserved imperial palace and garden in China. The entire park covers an area of 3.009 square kilometers, with water surface accounting for about three-quarters. Composed of Wanshou Hill and Kunming Lake, it was built based on the scenery of West Lake in Hangzhou. To spend your leisurely afternoon, you can choose to take a cruise on Kunming Lake (for an additional fee).

    Chinese Kung Fu has a very wide influence in the world, and most foreigners know Kung Fu from Jackie Chen and Bruce Lee's films. You can choose to enjoy a superb Kung Fu show at Red Theater.

  7. Today will be the highlight of your Beijing tour as you will be hiking on the famous world's heritage Mutianyu Great Wall. It would be around 2 hours' driving, and you can take this chance to see the urban and suburban scenery of Chinese capital on the way.

    Mutianyu Great Wall is the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty at 1368 and stretches for 5,400 meters. 90 percent of the Mutianyu is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. You will take a cable car to the top. For down the Great Wall, there is also an option of toboggan to see the spectacular scenery from different angles (optional).

    Afterwards, you will be transferred to visit the Sacred Way. This is an ancient pathway lined with massive stone sculptures leading to the Thirteen Tombs of Ming Dynasty. On the way back to Beijing, stop to view the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube from the outside.

  8. After breakfast, go to admire the Temple of Heaven. Located in the southern part of Beijing, this magnificent royal structure served as a complex of sacrificial buildings where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. Next, you will experience a rickshaw ride through the traditional hutongs. Pay a visit to a local family and learn about their daily life and even experience cultural activities such as learning calligraphy and weaving Chinese knots (extra charge).
