In the morning, your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at the appointed time. Firstly, you will be transferred to visit Beihai Park. Standing at the northwest of Forbidden City, Beihai Park is one of the oldest and best-preserved royal gardens. It had served as a royal garden from the Liao Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Today Beihai Park is one of the most popular and famous parks that locals visit in daily life.
Next, be guided to visit the Beijing local folk residence: Hutong Alley. There is an opportunity for you to take a rickshaw to explore Hutong to see the daily life of native Beijing people. Following the local expert guide, you will find another face of the city that is totally different from what you see on major streets.

After lunch, continue the Beijing cultural tour to Yonghe Palace where two emperors of the Qing Dynasty were born. Also called Lama Temple, it was the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing in the Mid and Late Qing Dynasty. Then head to the Confucius Temple, the memorial temple for the greatest educator in Chinese history.
The last stop today is Imperial Academy, which is located opposite Confucius Temple. It was the highest educational institution in the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. Today, it’s the only completely preserved relics of Chinese ancient educational institutions. After the one-day Beijing tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel (Note: If your hotel is outside the Third Ring Road, you will need to pay additional fees for the extra kilometers).
