After being picked up from the lobby of your hotel at 8:00 am, follow your expert tour guide to firstly visit the lovely pandas in Beijing Zoo. Remember to take pictures of those lovely creatures. Next, visit the Beijing local folk residence: Hutong. There is an opportunity for you to take a rickshaw to explore Hutong to see the daily life of native Beijing people. Following the local expert guide, you will find another face of the city that is totally different from what you see on major streets.

After lunch, the Beijing day tour continues to Tian’anmen Square, which is the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the largest of its kind in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years. Then, move on to the Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum or Imperial Palace, which was the largest and best-preserved ancient palaces of the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are nearly 9,000 rooms, and your guide will take you to visit some important sites and tell you stories about what happened here. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1987.
Finally, you will be transferred to Qianmen Street and Dashilan Street. They have been famous as commercial streets since the Ming Dynasty. After a leisurely stroll there, return to your hotel.
