Daqikong Scenic Area is located in the south of Libo County, Guizhou Province, where you can enjoy the landscape of primitive forests, canyons, rivers, underground lakes and other landforms. It gets its name from a historic seven-hole ancient bridge. This bridge spans over the Dagou River and bears witness to the changes of time.
The color of the lake in Daqikong Scenic Area changes with the seasons. During the summer season and the winter season, the lake looks like emerald; and in the autumn, it turns into a sapphire blue lake. However, if you go to Daqikong Scenic Area when it is cloudy or rainy, the lake will turn muddy and earthen yellow, making the scenery much less beautiful than on a sunny day.

What to See in Daqikong Scenic Area in Libo
There are two ways to visit Daqikong Scenic Area. The walkway allows you to explore each scenic spot in depth, and you can arrange your time freely. The water route is more labor-saving, making you sit in a boat to enjoy the scenery of both sides of the river.
Shanshen Gorge
A natural gorge is formed between the cliffs on both sides of the Tagou River, and the bizarre stalactites on the cliffs are breathtaking. In the middle of the gorge are three deep and dark caves arranged in the shape of “一”. If people speak loudly here, sand and stones will fall from the cliffs.
Tiansheng Bridge
Tiansheng Bridge is a famous scenic spot in Daqikong Scenic Area. A 60-meter-high stone with a bridge hole more than 20 meters wide forms a natural bridge across the river, known as “the Oriental Arc de Triomphe shaped by the divine force of nature.” Standing under it and looking up at this majestic natural bridge, your heart will be full of awe and admiration for nature.

Yaofeng Cave
It is a cave shaped by Karst landform. It got its name from the wind whooshing sound out of the waterfall at the entrance of cave. The cave was dark and littered with rocks. Yaofeng Cave is 3,200 meters long, 114 meters wide at its widest point and only 1 meter at its narrowest. Pools, waterfalls and lakes formed along the river add to the mystery of it.

By Bus: You can take the direct bus at Libo Bus Station to Daqikong Scenic Area. If you want to stop by Xiaoqikong Scenic Area on your trip to Libo Guizhou, there are sightseeing buses between these two scenic areas.
By Self-driving: Drive along the Lanhai Expressway and follow the road signs all the way, and you can get to Daqikong Scenic Area.
