Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Tianjin Port to Beijing Tour
   Understand the Royal Sacrificial Ceremonies of the Qing Dynasty

   Upon your arrival at Tianjin Port, our driver will pick you up from the exit gate by holding a welcome board with your name. Drive around 2.5 hours to Beijing City to meet the local English-speaking tour guide. (Note: If you can not arrive before 10 am, the following itinerary will be selected based on the time.)

   After lunch, your Beijing tour begins with the Temple of Heaven. Located in the southern part of Beijing, it served as a complex of sacrificial buildings where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest.

   Next, we will move on to Summer Palace. It is located in the west skirt of Beijing and covers an area of 290 hectares. During the Qianlong Era of the Qing Dynasty, the Summer Palace was built by imitating the layout of the West Lake in Hangzhou. Now, it is the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China. Today’s tour will conclude with the old Hutong where you will meet nice residents and take a rickshaw ride to have a glimpse of the old Beijing. After finishing the sightseeing, transfer you to a local hotel for check-in.

2. Day 2: Beijing Great Wall Tour
   Hike on the Most Beautiful Section of the Great Wall in China

   After hotel breakfast, your private tour in Beijing continues with a hike on the Mutianyu Great Wall. It is one of the best-preserved sections of the Great Wall in China. Its majestic walls and enemy towers, as well as its pristine natural scenery, make it one of the most popular sections among tourists. You can take a cable car or hike up to the top of the city wall to revel in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Take some time to walk along the border, take some memorable photos, and absorb the awe-inspiring history that surrounds you.

   After lunch, head to visit the Ming Tomb and see the underground palace of Dingling (one of the 13 Ming Dynasty Imperial Mausoleums). Dingling is the tomb of Emperor Shenzong, Zhuyijun, who reigned the nation for 48 years as the longest-serving monarch among all Ming emperors. Finally, we drive back to the hotel.

3. Day 3: Beijing to Tianjin Port Tour
   Appreciate Chinese Palace Architecture and Know How It Was Built

   At 08:30 this morning, your private tour guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby. Please take all your belongings and check out of the hotel as we will directly drive to Tianjin Port after the morning tour is finished.

   The first stop on today's Beijing tour is Tiananmen Square, one of the largest public spaces in the world where you will learn about many historical events. From there, walk for about 5-10 minutes to the Forbidden City, which is located in the middle of the central axis of Beijing.

   Also known as the "Palace Museum", it used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911) and is the essence of ancient Chinese palace architecture. There are various routes to visit the Forbidden City. Your tour guide will select the best visiting route for you based on the day's itinerary, and you will learn some basic facts, including when it was built, why it was built, and how many rooms it has.

   After lunch, say goodbye to your tour guide. The driver will transfer you back to the Tianjin Port for your cruise. This is the end of your 3-day Beijing tour itinerary from Tianjin Port.
