Day-by-day Itinerary
Our tour guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in downtown Beijing at 9:00 a.m, then we will drive 1.5 hours to Badaling Section of the Great Wall. (We suggest you have a hearty breakfast at your hotel this morning. Your lunch will be on the Great Wall. Please prepare some portable food like sandwiches and water. Wear comfortable hiking shoes. Don’t forget to bring your passport.
As the most original and best-preserved part, Badaling is one of the must-see places for foreign tourists in Beijing. Climbing the Great Wall is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the spectacular views from the wall are undeniably irresistible. Upon arrival, your guide will accompany you on an exciting hiking tour and tell you the story of the Badaling Great Wall.
The hike ends in about 3 hours. You will then be driven to Badaling Airport, where you will experience a helicopter flight over the Badaling Great Wall. Experience the captivating beauty of the Great Wall and its scenic surroundings from a panoramic aerial perspective for a duration of 15 minutes. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the breathtaking landscapes unfolding beneath you.
There are two flight routes, you may choose either of them.
Route 1 (15 min): An aerial tour of Badaling Great Wall and Wild Duck Lake (included in this package).
Route 2 (30 min): A more detailed aerial tour of Badaling Great Wall, including Wild Duck Lake, Kangxi Prairie, and Guangting Reservoir.
After the tour, the driver will drive you back to your hotel.
* Requirements for Joining the Helicopter Tour
- People are required to have a valid passport.
- No heart disease or other serious medical conditions, such as cerebral embolism, or cerebral tumor.
- People with respiratory diseases cannot participate, such as emphysema, pulmonary heart disease, etc.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Not recommended for pregnant women.
- People with severe anemia cannot participate.

From $1920 P.P, which is based on a private tour for 3 people. Due to the limited load of the helicopter, an extra fee should be paid if the weight exceeds 100kg.
