A brilliant way is to arrive in Guizhou from its gateway city, Guiyang, from there, a convenient high-speed train ride will take you to Kaili within 40 minutes.
Or you can fly into Kaili from Kaili Huangping Airport, but the airport only operates flights to/from Chengdu and Hangzhou, and the flights are not available every day.

Taxi and city buses are both convenient ways to travel around the Kaili city area.
