There are 2 most recommended places to see lovely pandas in Chengdu, one is Chengdu Giant Panda Base which is nearer to city area, and the other one is Dujiangjian Panda Center which was built in the natural habitat of pandas. It locates 18km from city area at foot of Qingcheng Mountain. This One Day Dujiangyan Panda and Mt. AM: In the morning at about 08:30, your guide will meet you in hotel lobby and escort to Dujiangyan Panda Center. The center locates at foot of Mountain Qingcheng where pandas can enjoy better natural living environment. Dujiangyan Panda Center is known as Panda Customs of China, because all pandas who will go abroad or return to China from abroad must stay in Dujiangyan Panda Center for 3 months for health observation. In the base there are many pandas living in semi-natural environment. Except for pandas, you will also meet lesser pandas, swans, and Yuanyangs (Chinese Love Bird).
Noon: Lunch on your own.
PM: After lunch, transfer to visit the World Cultural Heritage site – Mountain Qingcheng, the head-stream of Chinese Taoism. Mt.Qingcheng was also called “Supernatural Beings’ Capital”, and “Original Courty Yard of Taoist Master”. The picturesque scenery, the dotted cultural relics, and fascinating legend stories about the mountain.
Your One-Day Dujiangyan Panda Tour with Mt. Qingcheng ends here. You will be escorted back to the hotel at about 17:30. We’ll not appoint a restaurant or dish for your lunch today, your guide will offer advice according to your interest.
