Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Hong Kong Day Tour
In the morning, a local guide and a driver will meet you at your hotel. They will take you to explore some of the most popular destinations in Hong Kong.
Start your tour in Hong Kong at the Victoria Peak (太平山顶), one of Hong Kong's premier tourist destinations, located at the highest point of the city. Its name comes from the Queen Victoria. You will take the Peak Tram to the observation deck at an altitude of 428 meters, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Hong Kong skyline.
Peak Tram on Victoria Peak Next, move to Eastern Hawaii - the Repulse Bay. Located south of Victoria Peak on Hong Kong Island, this is a great place to relax, with flat waves, fine sand, and warm seawater. There are many restaurants, fast food chains, and supermarkets around the beach. The tea house by the sea is a great place to enjoy the sunset. June to August is the busiest time and the best season for sightseeing in Repulse Bay. Here, you will also explore Tin Hau Temple, which enshrines the respected sea goddess.
Then, you will be taken to glimpse the traditional fishing heritage in Aberdeen Fishing Village. It is Hong Kong's oldest village of the boat people, and is still working to preserve its culture today. You will find locals selling freshly caught and dried seafood from their boats. To experience the culture and lifestyle, you have the chance of a sampan ride. Another feature that attracts tourists to Aberdeen Fishing Village is floating restaurants, which have a diverse range of cuisine and a close-up view of the harbor.
Aberdeen Fishing Village After that, you’ll be escorted back to your hotel in the downtown area. Your 1-day Hong Kong tour ends here. If you want to explore more in the afternoon and evening, here are some recommendations: Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple, Nan Lian Garden, Avenue of Stars.
