Why Guilin has the reputation of “Guilin’s Scenery is the best in the world”? The scenes of Guilin’s Li River, rolling green hills, Yangshuo ancient town, and lined rice terraces are undoubtedly frequenters on the postcards, books, and even chocolate boxes you’ve seen in daily life. The limestone hills randomly thrust out of the ground, Li River winds its way through the hills and passes villages, the curved tiers growing rice lines up to terraces, creating a picture of timeless beauty. It’s a place greatly fertilized and adored by mighty nature and seldom regretted by travelers. Terrace Filed is the common form of farm field in southern China due to the geological features. And in Longji Terrace Field in Guilin is one of the most well operated and beautiful terrace field in China. This small group tour including all transfer, guide and lunch will introduce this attractive terrace field to tourists.
In the morning meet the guide and driver in your hotel at 08:00-09:00. (The specific pickup time will be determined on the day before). After collecting all tourists we will head to famous Longji Terrace Field.
The driving will takes about 2 hours so we will get to the terrace field before 11:00. The Longsheng Terraced Rice Fields were first built and cultivated in Yuan Dynasty by Zhuang and Yao minority people, and now the area is still being used by the Zhuang and Yao villagers. The rice terraces are built on the mountain slopes and wind its way around the hillsides. The Longji terraced fields is a highlight in one’s Guilin tour and one of the 12 top class scenic spots in Guangxi Province. After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel at about 17:00.
