One Day Wuzhen Ancient Town Tour from Hangzhou

AM: At 08:30 our guide and driver will greet you in your hotel lobby. Then drive for about 1.5 hours to Wuzhen Ancient Town. Wuzhen Ancient Town is one of the most visited water towns nearby Shanghai. It is 60km from Suzhou city and Hangzhou city, and 106km from Shanghai. The ancient town is evaluated as a national AAAAA scenic area.

There are several highlight sites you should not miss in Wuzhen Ancient Town. The first one is Ancient Beds Museum where you will see hundreds of different old style beds which were common in southern China. Though quite some beds got discolored, the exquisite patterns on the beds are still telling the wishes of the bed masters. Afterward pay a visit to Sanbai Wine Workshop which has a history of nearly 1000 years. The winery show the traditional wine making process to visitors. Then you will get to Hongyuan Thai Dye House. Here you will see the most traditional Chinese way to dye cloth.

Noon: Lunch at local restaurant.

PM: After lunch, you will explore more interesting things in Wuzhen. The guide will explain the things you have interest one by one and help you take the nice pictures. After the tour, you will be escorted back to hotel in Hangzhou.
