Accommodation on the Orient Silk Road Express
The Orient Silk Road Express provides 24-hour cabin services along the Silk Road. The staff will bring fresh local fruits to your cabin every day while you are on the day trips of sightseeing. There are five categories of compartments for accommodation on the Orient Silk Road Express Train that contain different facilities. Choose the right one for yourself.
1. Kalif Class
This is the most spacious and premier compartment class on the Orient Silk Road Express, with traditional Oriental Express design of redwood furnishing and brass hardware giving you a superior private retreat. It includes a “Pullman” table and a cozy armchair alongside. There are four compartments like this in one car, and each is for two travelers to accommodate. They offer comfortable seats and contain a private bathroom with a wash basin and a separate shower cabin.
2. Sultan Class
Compartments of Sultan Class are also equipped with en-suite facilities like private toilets and spacious shower areas within the bathroom. They provide a small wardrobe and storage space. There are 6 compartments of this type per car in the train of Orient Silk Road Express, and each cabin is for two tourists. A large picture window is there for you to look out at China’s ever-changing scenery along the Silk Road.
3. Aladdin Class
Aladdin Class cabins are perfect for those who pursue comfortable experiences on their tour of China Silk Road by train. This cabin has two lower beds that can be converted to comfortable seats like a sofa for daytime use, with storage space under the beds in each cabin. It has two shared bathrooms with a sink and toilet per car on both ends as well as a shower compartment at one end. There are eight compartments of this kind per car on the Orient Silk Road Express Train.
4. Ali Baba Class
Ali Baba Class cabins of the Orient Silk Road Express are comfortable ones with highly cost-effective for exploring the Silk Road. They are a little bit smaller than those of the Aladdin Class, and have two shared bathrooms with a sink and toilet per car, and no shower available. There are nine Ali Baba Class cabins per car, and two beds and additional storage space are provided in each cabin.
5. Habibi Class
A cabin of Habibi Class is for up to four travelers, and four beds are arranged averagely on each side with the lower and upper beds separated by a table near the window. Each car of this category in the Orient Silk Road Express has nine compartments of this type, with toilet and washing facilities at both ends. If you have family or a group of four tourists, a Habibi Class cabin is a good choice.

Restaurant Car

In addition, both ends of each carriage are equipped with Western toilets and washrooms.
