Private Beijing Highlight Day Tour

At 8:00 am, your private tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby in the Beijing downtown area. The first stop on today’s Beijing tour is Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years. You can also see Chairman Mao’s portrait hanging on the wall of the Gate of Heavenly Peace, which adds a sense of majesty to this grand square.

Then walk to the Forbidden City, one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complexes built with wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties who once lived here.

After lunch, we will drive for about 1 hour to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of the Chinese Great Wall. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty in 1368. With a total length of 5,400 meters, it is the longest Great Wall in China. On the Great Wall, marvel at the great architecture like watch towers and beacon towers. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it a perfect environment for hiking. If hiking is too hard, you can also choose to take cable cars and toboggans (optional).

After the exciting Great Wall tour in Beijing, you will be transferred back to your downtown hotel safely with great joy and harvest.
