  1. So honored to have you on our 8-day Beijing Xian Shanghai tour! Welcome to the capital city of China - Beijing! Upon your arrival, our representatives will give you a warm welcome at the airport. They will assist you with your transfer to your hotel and ensure your trip starts smoothly.

    After checking into your hotel, take some time to relax and recover from your trip. You can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city and explore the nearby areas at your own pace, getting a glimpse of Beijing's unique culture and charm.

  2. Start the China tour in Beijing by visiting Tian'anmen Square, an iconic landmark and the heart of Beijing. It is one of the largest public squares in the world. Learn the stories of historical events and appreciate the iconic buildings around the square, including the Monument to the People's Heroes and the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall.

    Next, walk to the famous Forbidden City, which has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the imperial palace of China for over 500 years. Follow the footsteps of your private guide to explore magnificent halls, intricate courtyards, and beautiful gardens to gain a deeper understanding of China's imperial history.

    In the afternoon, hop on a rickshaw through the traditional Hutong neighborhoods. These narrow alleyways lined with traditional courtyard houses offer a glimpse into the city's rich cultural heritage.

  3. Today is your Beijing Great Wall hiking day. In the morning, you will visit the Temple of Heaven first, which is an architectural masterpiece from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll explore its stunning complex of temples, renowned for its iconic Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Circular Mound Altar, where emperors held important ceremonies.

    In the afternoon, you will be transferred to explore the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the best-preserved sections of the Great Wall in China. Its majestic walls and enemy towers, as well as its pristine natural scenery, make it one of the most popular sections among tourists. Take a cable car or hike up to the top of the city wall to revel in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

    Tonight is your last night in Beijing, and seize the opportunity to have the famous Beijing Roast Duck at Quanjude Restaurant for your dinner. A local chef will guide you through slicing the juicy duck meat and serving it with condiments, pancakes, and sauces.

  4. Today, you will spend the whole morning immersing in the beautiful Summer Palace, a vast imperial garden. This is a place suitable for visits in all seasons. In spring, various flowers bloom; in summer, the breeze brushes through the lotus ponds; in autumn, the garden is adorned with red leaves; and in winter, it is covered in pure white snow. Here, you can explore elaborately designed pavilions, stroll through serene gardens, and appreciate the tranquility of Kunming Lake.

    In the afternoon, take a high-speed bullet train from Beijing to Xi'an, a journey that offers scenic views of the countryside. Arrive in Xi'an and meet the local guide who will escort you to the hotel and help you with check-in. Take some time to rest and prepare for tomorrow's China tour in Xian.

  5. After a hearty breakfast, begin your Xian tour by visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an iconic Buddhist pagoda that dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). You can admire the exquisite architecture and explore the surrounding temple complex. After that, head to Xi'an Museum where you can learn about the thousand year history and development of Xi'an as a capital. Discover ancient artifacts, intricate artwork, and archaeological treasures that depict the region's past. In this scenic area, you can also see the Small Wild Goose Pagoda.

    After that, you will be arranged to engage with a local family and learn the art of making traditional dumplings, a popular Chinese dish. Roll up your sleeves, follow the guidance of experienced cooks, and create your delectable dumplings. In the evening, you will enjoy the dumpling dinner and Tang Dynasty Dance Show. Through graceful choreography and vibrant costumes, the show brings to life the elegance and grandeur of this historical period.

  6. The highlight of today's China tour in Xian is a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the world. Follow your expert guide to delve into the three pits housing thousands of life-sized terracotta soldiers, horses, and chariots, each with unique facial expressions and intricate craftsmanship.

    After lunch, drive back to the city center and continue your exploration of Xi'an to the Ancient City Wall, one of the largest and most well-preserved city walls in China with a history of over 600 years. You can take a leisure walk or rent a bike (optional) to go around the wall and enjoy panoramic views of the city.

    Then, take a walk in the Muslim Quarter - the best-known food street in Xi'an. At last, you will visit the Great Mosque. The Mosque was built in a totally Chinese architectural style and is the major gathering place for all Muslims living in Xian.

  7. After breakfast, meet your tour guide and transfer to take a morning flight to Shanghai, a metropolis in China. After arrival, your local guide will pick you up and escort you to the hotel in the city. Rest well and enjoy lunch. You can get some food recommendations from your tour guide.

    In the afternoon, your China tour in Shanghai begins at Yuyuan Garden, a classical Chinese garden dating back to the Ming Dynasty. You can stroll through its elegant pavilions, winding paths, and tranquil ponds. Appreciate the elaborate landscaping and discover the harmony between architecture and nature. Next, you will ascend the Jinmao Tower and overlook the vast cityscape of Shanghai on the 88th floor of the building. After the visit, drive you back to the hotel.

  8. In the morning, you will be guided to visit the Shanghai Museum, which houses a vast collection of ancient Chinese art and artifacts.
